Stila Angel Light Whitening Powder Foundation Review

Stila Angel Light Whitening Powder Foundation

Hello my adorable friends!

Hope each and every one of you is in the best of health and enjoying their lives. I have always being nagging about the fact that high-end brands except MAC are not available in Pakistan and the online stores fully intend to make you bankrupt for importing them. Anyways, Stila is a mid-range brand and I picked up some discreet stuff from brands through my mom from United Kingdom. Also, because I never trust online websites until they are really considered selling authentic products. My love goes to foundations and pressed powders after lipsticks on priority. So let’s move on to the review.

Packaging:

This is basically a refill of the actual product. Since I selected the stuff from the web already and then asked my mother to pick it up and she was unable to find the compact of this, she picked up the refill and it worked actually. Packed in a beige pink card-box, the foundation powder pan is carefully adhered to a hard plastic packaging and a decent sponge is enclosed inside. The packaging is very much useful even without a compact. You just need your own mirror, but better not to carry it around because mine broke during travelling.

My views experience with Stila Angel Light Whitening Powder Foundation:

I simply love the product. I have heard a lot about powder foundations and have tried them in drug-store brands but at the end of the day, they turned out to be mere pressed powders no matter I used them with damp sponge. Anyways, this is truly a foundation. Not to forget, I have a combination skin with active oil glands in t-zone.
The texture of the product is velvety soft, creamy and smooth. On swatching, it feels creamy with fine particles. In extreme winter, moisturization cannot be skipped due to rough weather and dry skin, but the foundation will do go on its own in other seasons. It blends like a dream on skin making the application easy and flawless. The coverage is sheer when applied dry and more than medium when applied with a damp sponge. With kabuki face brushes, the coverage is sheer but then the finish is natural and more flawless. The coverage is buildable to full with multiple coats and it even doesn’t look cakey, but I don’t prefer it because of the dewy finish of the foundation. Once blended, the foundation absorbs and finishes with a radiant and luminous look. This is actually a whitening powder foundation but I unfortunately selected one tone darker shade unintentionally due to misguiding color shades displayed on laptop screens.

I have worn it for max 6 hours. My t-zone stayed shine free for 5 hours. It doesn’t oxidize, doesn’t sink in pores and had never broken me out. It doesn’t enhance fine lines or dry patches on my face and doesn’t turn grey or creases. It provides a very good base for make-up. To conceal scars and dark circles or heavy blemishes, I will suggest using a concealer underneath. Also, it evens out my skin tone beautifully. It contains SPF 26, which is a plus point. It feels very light weight on skin.

Overall, this is a great product for those using foundation for everyday or for people who stay away from heavy foundations. I think all skin types will cherish this product.
