I am back with another lipstick review and this time it is the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick. I have it in the shade Venizia which is one of the 5 new summer shades that they had launched. Read on to find out more about this shade.

My experience with Stila Venizia Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick :
Packaging:
This lipstick comes in a sleek transparent tube packaging with a muted gold cap. The gold cap and the golden print makes the packaging quite attractive. It comes with a regular doe-foot applicator which makes the application precise and easy.
Shade / Pigmentation: Venizia is a really bright coral. Stila describes it as a Bright Red on its site but to me it appears as a vibrant coral. This shade might not be everyone’s cup of tea but those who like bright summery shades will really enjoy wearing this. The shade is tricky and medium/dark skin beauties may not find it too flattering. The lipstick is highly pigmented and one swipe gives you opaque coverage. It applies a bit patchy and you need to be careful with the application. Also, if you layer it on, it surely ends up clumping on your lips.
Texture / Finish:
This is a liquid lipstick and has a creamy texture. It is not very runny and spreads easily on the lips. It quickly dries down to a matte finish with absolutely no sheen. Even though this is a matte lipstick, it feels quite light weight and comfortable on the lips. It does get a tad drying as the day passes on but that is expected out of such long-wearing lipsticks.
Lasting Power:
It is a truly long lasting lipstick which can easily last 7-8 hrs with snacking and light meals. Of course, it is bound to fade if you happen to munch on burgers or bite into pizzas. It is completely transfer-proof and you will surely not leave behind lipstick marks on glasses and mugs.

Yes, if liquid lipsticks with matte finish is your thing, you can surely try out this range.
I will not repurchase the same shade but might try other shades from the range.

That’s the only problem I find with liquid lipsticks, they get patchy and settle to soon. So, it is so difficult even impossible to even the color out.
