How I Store My Makeup and Jewelry

I have seen a few articles about storage ideas, but there are a lot more ideas and options that I want to share with you. I myself thought about some ideas for a long time because my palettes and nail polishes were just lying around everywhere in the bathroom, living room, bedroom!!!!
I remember seeing a girl using a paper desk organizer to put her palettes in. I loved this idea and went hunting for a similar desk organizer. I looked everywhere, but I didn’t find the “one.” One day, my mom came to me and told me she has a surprise for me and I couldn’t believe what I saw. She got me the cutest desk organizer EVER! I love it so much. It has three separate compartments and one of them is most likely made for pens. The size is perfect for my palettes and it matches with my other trays that I have.
I forgot to cut off the paper, haha, that’s one idea for how to store your palettes.
Another idea is to find a small plastic shelf that you can put on top of your desk like this one.
You may think that nothing would fit in this one, but let me tell you all, my nail polishes fit in one drawer. I took this from my brother’s room, but you can find this in IKEA or Walmart.
You can also use one drawer to put your lipsticks and lip glosses; unfortunately, I have so much stuff that I needed another storage container. I asked my mom if she had something she could give me for my lipsticks and she indeed did. As you will see in the picture below, it can hold up to 25-30 lipsticks, amazing right? You can get this at Walmart or CVS or on ebay.
As for my makeup brushes, I bought two trays from IKEA for 1€. They are both white and match with all my other organizers. I also bought some plastic round decoration balls that I poured in one of the trays to keep my brushes in place. They don’t move unless I touch them. This really helps me find my favorite eyeshadow brush when I’m in a hurry. Usually, my brushes hug each other and I don’t find the brush that I need so easily.
Since my face brushes are big, I feel like I don’t need to do the same thing and buy plastic decoration balls.
Have you ever wondered how you can store your necklaces and rings and bracelets in one place? I did and found the perfect thing. This lady without a head; I don’t have too many rings, but I used to just put everything in one bowl and after a while I noticed my rings were falling apart. I have seen rhinestones on the bottom of the bowl and some of my rings were scraped up because whenever I was looking for a specific ring, they scraped each other. Luckily, I won’t have that problem anymore.
This jewelry holder you can buy at ROSS, TJ MAXX and online, I believe these go for 15$.
How adorable is that right? So girly, I love it.

I organised my makeup stuff some time back, and it does make life easier 😛
i had 7-8 makeup pouches/kits with me so I have segregated my stuff and placed it in the pouches 🙂

I have 2 small 3 layered plastic shelves and same holders for my brushes and eye pencils..I so want that lipstick case now…that jewellery holder is cuteee :inlove:

i store my makeup and jewellry almost the same way , sahar. :)) I jave to find a way to hold my lipsticks though. I put them in the drawer only but I like your idea more. I just have to find a biggie lipstick stand m which am not able to find. 🙁

me likey very much. gotta check the ebay india site and see if they have anything similar. I like the organizer idea very much. Currently my make up (creams, foundations etc) is in a cane basket and the makeup bruses are in a cane holder (think its actually meant in the kitchen for ladles and spoons etc)

haha same here im pretty lazy but it when it comes to my makup i want it everything to be organized because i go nuts when im tryin to find somethign but i cant because everything is all ov er the place.
