Hair type: Thick, dry, frizzy with sensitive scalp and dandruff issues
How are you all? Streax products have worked amazingly for me, be it their hair masque, serums or leave-in conditioners. Since I am battling dandruff issues, I got this Streax Pro Lovely Hair Dandruff Guard Shampoo hoping that it to work on my severe dandruff. But for the first time, I was let down by the brand. Read on to know how it failed to impress me.
The dandruff guard shampoo has essential ingredients which keep your scalp moist and thus working against any flaky skin on your scalp. This shampoo provides the scalp the nutrients which help it in not breaking up and causing flakes. It is the combination of zinc pyrithione with cationic polymeric as soothing astringent thus maintaining the health of the scalp. It helps clean the scalp gently and effectively and prevents any collection of dirt or impurities causing harm to the scalp.
My Experience with Streax Pro Lovely Hair Dandruff Guard Shampoo:
Packaging: The packaging is nice, but nothing worth mentioning in great detail. It comes in a simple white bottle, with a flip open cap. Product details are mentioned on the back of the bottle. It is not bulky and I would call it travel friendly. I am never hesitant about trying out products from this brand, as my prior experience has been great. This product however failed to live up to my expectations. Given my severe dandruff and visible flakes, I hoped it would do something about it. But even after two months of consistent usage, I am yet to notice a difference in dandruff level. As long as I was using Balea Sensitive Shampoo, my hair was okay, but the moment I started using this Streax Shampoo, my dandruff returned in full force.
The texture of this shampoo is a milky white liquid, which lathers into a rich foam. If you have heavily oiled hair, it will clear your oil in a single wash, but it badly causes knots and tangles, which makes hair difficult to comb through. Without a proper conditioner hair feels dry and frizzy. So, my scalp doesn’t feel as squeaky clean as I would like, but it leaves behind a nice fragrance in my hair.
There is no effect on dandruff; itchiness and flakes are still there, and I am using home remedies to cure my dandruff. In fact, home remedies to cure dandruff work far better. So, I am done using this shampoo which did nothing for my hair- neither did it reduce dandruff nor did it restore the health of my hair. I would definitely ask you to skip this.
