Today I am here with my third shade of the ‘Ultra moist lipstick’, I just love the fact that how creamy & moisturizing they are at just Rs 180, the chic, girly packaging of it, and also that the range has atleast one apt shade for every skin tone. Okay, now let’s continue with the review.
Product Details: Give your lips a smacking look courtesy this lipstick from Street wear. This rich matte lip colour gives the lips a soft and supple appearance, while keeping them nourished. It glides on smoothly and gives the lips a soft and supple appearance.
Price: INR 180.
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a simple, plastic black bullet body; the cap is the eye catching part of the lipstick, the toon girl image sticker all over the cap makes it appear very pleasing, the cap is pretty much tight and doesn’t become loose. The bullet juts out of the bullet body, which makes the tip prone to damage, while opening or closing the cap.
My Take on Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick in Please Me Pink:
Shade: ‘Please me Pink’ is a dull reddish carroty pink color, with minute silver & pink colored shimmers in it. The color is true carrot pink, with some reddish touch to it. It’s the first carroty pink color that I own. The shade will suit every skin tone, and is very wearable shade for everyday because the color not very vibrant, it’s a much toned down carroty color.
Texture & Finish: The texture of the lipstick is not very super creamy or buttery, the bullet will feel hard and intact, but it’s smooth & creamy enough to glide effortlessly, while depositing even color on lips. The formula of the color is very lightweight and hydrating enough for normal to dry lips. It won’t make the lips very dry and it won’t exaggerate dry, patchy lips. The finish of the color is semi matte, not very glossy neither completely matte, the color has a mild sheen to it. The lipstick has some nutty or some particular flavored cake kind of smell to it, initially the smell is little overpowering but it fades with time.
Pigmentation: The formula of the shade “Please me Pink” is very sheer. The color is not very buildable or thick and the coverage is not opaque. Hence even after building the color in 3-4 swipes the flaws of lips remains visible. So this is not a suitable color for pigmented lips.
