My Experience with Street Wear Kohl Black Eyeliner Kajal:
Packaging: The Kajal looks like a normal black long retractable pencil with a nice cap. It comes in a normal black colored paper packaging with all the product details printed on it. The twist up mechanism works nicely but, I noticed a few white spots on the kajal pencil. The pencil is not sturdy and it might break in the future.
Shade: The Kajal comes in a single shade, Kohl Black and it’s a very classy matte black shade which looks bold on the eyes. It has a good pigmentation and it is perfect for daily wear. Also, you need to swipe it twice or thrice for an intense color payoff.
Texture and Quality: The kajal has a medium creamy texture that glides nicely on my waterlines. With a little pressure, it glides easily without any tugging. Actually, it is not a very creamy pencil; it needs a few strokes for achieving the perfect results. I can apply it on my upper lash line without any effort and it doesn’t feel patchy or dry. Due to its less creamy texture, I find it easy to create a thin line on my waterline. Hence, I can use this as an eyeliner also.
Like its claims, the kajal looks beautiful on my eyes. It works on both the inner and outer rims. It doesn’t dry out so, I also used it as a base for my smoky eye look. This Kajal has a nice matte finish that looks very attractive. It doesn’t smudge automatically but touching or rubbing can smudge it and then, it looks messy. I can’t say it a 100% smudge proof kajal as my lower lash line looks smudgy after a few hours. But, the formula is decently waterproof. It doesn’t wash off with water and as a normal daily wear kajal, it works nicely. It also doesn’t transfer on my eyelids. I love this kajal as it suits my sensitive eyes perfectly. But, it looks quite smudgy at the corners. Also, it needs a good oil based remover to remove it properly.
Staying Power: This kajal lasts long for around 8-9 hours but, it smudges after 6-7 hours on my lower lash line. Also, after 4 hours, the color starts to fade from my waterline. But, the kajal stays good on the upper eyelid and doesn’t look messy. It never settles into fine lines or crease on my lids. Overall, it is a nice and budget-friendly kajal.
