Street Wear Poppy Pink Color Rich Mega Shine Lip Gloss Review

Streetwear has launched some really cute lip glosses recently. I have 4 shades up for you back to back. The shades that I have picked up are “Berry Touch,” “Red Diva,” “Poppy Pink”, and “Royal Raisin.” The shades are all super cute and gorgeous.  More details on Poppy Pink in this post here:

My Experience with Street Wear Poppy Pink Color Rich Mega Shine Lip Gloss:

Packaging: This lip gloss comes in a clear plastic tube that shows the shade very clearly. The packaging is minimal compared to other lip glosses from Streetwear. I like the packaging of these lip glosses better actually. The shade name and number are printed on a sticker at the base. The wand is of the correct size and the flat doe-foot applicator works well in distributing the product well.

Shade: “Poppy Pink” is a pretty pink-coloured gloss with very fine shimmer. It’s a gorgeous pink colour and would flatter most skin tones. The pigmentation is nice for a lip gloss, and it is great when you want to apply something on your lips, but not something as stark as a lipstick. It can be worn as an everyday shade as it doesn’t come up as bold as it looks in the tube.

Texture: The texture of the gloss is creamy. It glides on very well. It isn’t sticky like the previous glosses. It’s the perfect consistency for a gloss; runny and watery in consistency. It’s moisturizing as long it’s on your lips, but the moment you wipe it off, your lips feel dry.  So, I apply a lip balm before applying the gloss, and after removing the gloss so that way, my lips feel soft and stay hydrated.

Staying Power:  The gloss stays on for 2-3 hours after which it starts fading. It survived a light meal in my case, and still looked pretty on my lips. It transfers like crazy though.

• Would suit most skin tones.

• Moisturizes the lips well.
• Nice pigmentation for a lip gloss.

Cons of Street Wear Poppy Pink Color Rich Mega Shine Lip Gloss:

• Transfers a lot.
• Low staying power.
• Lips feel dry after you remove the gloss.
• Might bleed if layered on.

Final Verdict: These lip glosses from Streetwear are pocket friendly with bright and fresh colours to choose from if you are young and a college-going girl. I wouldn’t repurchase them because it would take ages for me to finish up these lip glosses.
