Streetwear Eyeshadow Hi Lite Review

Streetwear Eyeshadow Hi Lite

Hello everybody. 🙂

One more street wear product. Street wear has an offer going on these days and that’s why I picked up street wear metal eyes eyeliner in copper glaze and this eye shadow quartet. This review is about street wear true color eye shadows in the shade HI LITE. Street wear is brand of Revlon and makes fairly descent makeup products. Let’s see how this one is. 🙂

Price: – Rs.425

Shade: – Hi Lite

Packaging: – these eye shadows some in a slim silver case which has a transparent cover through which we can see the shades. They have 2 sponge applicators inside and a small mirror for touch ups. The packaging is not sturdy enough for travelling and the lock is a bit loose. For beginners, there is a description given on the back on how to use all four colors in one eye makeup with a picture. I guess that’s a very nice tip for beginners.

My experience with street wear true color eye shadow in Hi Lite:-

This eye shadow quartet contains four colors:-
1) A white shimmery shade for highlighting.
2) A copper shade
3) A golden shade
4) A brown/bronze shade

This quartet is specifically designed for party/wedding/ jeweled makeup and hence all the colors are full of shimmer and jewel tones. The white shade is perfect for highlighting the area under the brows and the inside of the eyes because it lifts up your eyes. The copper and the brown shades are perfect for brown makeup and can be used in the jeweled eyes makeup. The golden up is very light and does not show up properly on my eyes. Maybe because i wanted a more stunning gold for my eyes. But as highlighters, all the four shades are very good. They can lift up your eyes and make them look big and bright. The staying power is descent and the product quantity is also good. The texture of all the four shades is soft and smooth. There is a little fall out during application for which I will suggest that you do your eye makeup before your foundation routine. Overall, these eye shadows are great for the bejeweled look and a value for money.

Pros of street wear true color eye shadow in Hi Lite:-
1) Great for highlighting or wedding makeup.
2) Texture is smooth and pigmented.
3) Good staying power and quantity.
4) All 4 shades can be used individually and also in combination.
5) The white color is an amazing highlighter.
6) Value for money.

Cons of street wear true color eye shadow in Hi Lite:-
1) Little fallout during application.
2) Not sturdy enough for travelling.

Final verdict: – if you are looking for an eye shadow palette for a bejeweled look, then this is a good one. But if you have these colors individually or like only one or two colors out of these, then I suggest that give this palette a miss. There is nothing very exceptional about this palette.

  1. When I saw the photos of the strips, it reminded me of Revlon Colorstay Quad. Those diamond embossed design. Then I learned in your post that Streetwear is trademark of Revlon. 🙂 Nice review MIly Jain- Valarie
