Streetwear Mascara – Transparent and Black Review
Hello IMBB Beauties,
Here’s a review of two of the most horrible mascaras in the world !!! :X, one I bought only to realise that I shouldn’t have bought it and soon, I was gifted another one!!
Well , here they are — Streetwear Sheer mascara 01 Transparent (I bought this one reading the wonders of transparent mascaras everywhere :”( ]
Streetwear Mascara – 01 Black (This was gifted):
I really didn’t get why on earth both of them had the same number #01 ????? :O
Let me get into this one by one.
Streetwear Sheer mascara 01 Transparent:
(I am really sorry for this all pink background )
Price:
I don’t remember actually, but somewhat around 100 INR for 7.8 ml.
Packaging:
I was really floored by the cute pink colour, its basically a transparent bottle with these pink motiffs. You can exactly know how much product is left. Company says that on applying you will get great looking lashes.
Key Ingredients:
PVP , carbomer, butylene glycol.
Shelf Life:
24 months from the date of packaging.
Pros of Streetwear Mascara – Transparent:
- Affordable.
- Cute transparent packaging, easy to know how much amount is left.
Cons of Streetwear Mascara -Transparent:
- It does nothing for the lashes, just nothing, feels like I am applying water.
- No staying power, initially after application, the lashes seem to stand out, but after sometime, it’s simply gone.
- Not waterproof.
- Brush is horrible, with small spirally arranged bristles, very inconvenient for application. It does not even reach the roots of eyelashes.
Now coming to the second one:
Streetwear Mascara – Black:
Price: Most probably around 150-200 INR for 7.9 ml.
Packaging: Black tube with a silver cap.
Key Ingredients:
Magnesium aluminium silicate, candellila wax, propylene glycol.
Pros of Streetwear Mascara – Black:
- Affordable.
- Dark black colour.
Cons of Streetwear Mascara – Black:
- Not waterproof — a splash of water/rendezvous in rain may make you look like a racoon.
- Brush again is of poor quality ith small sparsely placed bristles, inconvenient for application.
- It clumps.
- Flakes after a few hours.
- Sticks eyelashes together like adhesives.
- Does not impart any volume or length to the lashes.
- Pungent odour of chemicals.
Would I Buy These Again?
NEVER. I bought the much-acclaimed Maybelline Colossal Volume recently and I thank IMBB for that O:- )
Would I Recommend These?
NO WAY!
My Rating:
For transparent mascara -1/5 (+0.5 each for being affordable and cute transparent packaging). For black mascara – 0.5/5 (only for being affordable).
I sincerely feel Streetwear, owned by Revlon, should learn a thing or two from Maybelline O:- )

ratidoo… i got some skin care products from them…a scrub, a moisturiser, a face wash…. all are just soo :yuck: :yuck: :yuck: the scrub is kinda liquid,face wash has some hard granules…and the cleansing milk and moisturiser burned my skin :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:
As I keep on reading the reviews of various stuff..which don’t do anything..feeling enticed to ask..which are those facepacks, antiaging products, brown spot reduction creams..which you can SWEAR BY…?! :methinks:

i think the ponds age miracle and olay are good at making anti aging stuff…atleast they provide decent moisturisation..which somewhat keeps wrinkles away :haanji: :haanji: .. my mom have used both and they seemed to be pretty usefull :)) . but no idea about brown spot reductions :struggle:
Would you or any other frnd like to share…which is the most effective facepack/facial kit for normal skin..which ACTUALLY works..?! :thanks:

Well..I used to have a Supppaaa-Duppaaai-Oily-Skin..but now with growing age..it became less oily..so its kinda normal to oily.. :toothygrin: Am hearing good reviews of Aroma Magic products..Sound worth-giving-a-try..!! :thanks:

you know what, you can use the transparent mascara on the brows as a brow gel (one of the makeup gurus on youtube does that) :haanji: :haanji: . just give it a try…you might be able to squeeze out some of your moneys worth :-/ …although with the horrible staying power of the mascara, i doubt it’ll stay on the eyebrows long enuf! :silly: :silly:

brow gel keeps your eyebrow hair in place, prevents them from sticking out at weird places and gives you a better groomed look :))

i bought the Revlon Primer + mascara and its fabulous. its got a white’ish primer at one end and a black mascara at the other end.
