1. Brightening Strawberry Mask

This is a popular mask and surely works wonders for the skin. If your skin is dull, dehydrated and severely affected by high pollution levels, this is definitely a must-try.

Ingredients:
Strawberries (3-4, washed and chopped)
Yoghurt (2 teaspoons)
Honey (1 teaspoon)

How to make:
Add all the three ingredients in a blender and make a smooth paste. Apply liberally on face and neck. It will be slightly runny, so rest with this on your face. Let it dry for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with cold water. Pat dry.

Benefits:
Strawberries nourish and revitalise your skin. Strawberries are acidic in nature and help remove the excess sebum on skin. The juice is very efficient in lightening blemishes and acne scars. Yoghurt increases the moisture content, makes skin more elastic and improves brightness. Honey is a humectant and smoothens skin, making it velvety soft.

2. Refreshing Cranberry Mask

If your skin lacks glow and looks tired and stressed you should give this power pack a shot. It will freshen up your skin from deep within and give it an enviable radiance.

Ingredients:
Cranberries (Around 4-5, cleaned and washed)
Aloe vera gel (1 teaspoon)
Yoghurt or milk (whichever suits your skin better, around 1-2 tablespoons)

How to make:
Easy! Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend to make a smooth paste. Apply on face and neck, leave it on for 20 minutes. Wipe off with a wet muslin cloth. Follow up with a moisturiser.

Benefits:
Cranberry has loads of vitamin C, which is needed for the formation of hydroxyproline, hydroxylysine and amino acids that produce collagen in the body. Plus, it improves skin texture making the skin soft, firm and healthy. Aloe vera gel soothes skin, reduces irritations and hydrates skin. Yoghurt gives a healthy glow. Milk improves complexion, reduces tan, nourishes and evens out skin.

3. Anti-Ageing Blueberry Mask:

Blueberries are superfoods for skin and mature skin can benefit a lot from this potent fruit. If you are in your late twenties and early thirties, you can apply this to prevent the signs of ageing. It also works well for people with sagging, lifeless skin as it gives a firm, toned look.

Ingredients:
Blueberries (4-5, washed and cleaned)
Oats (2 tablespoon)
Vitamin E (2 capsules)
Olive Oil (1 tablespoon)

How to make:
This anti-ageing mask is simple to whip up. Blend a few blueberries, olive oil and oats to make a smooth paste. Now add Vitamin E (you can pour the contents of the capsule directly) and mix. Apply generously to make an even layer. Leave it on for around 20 minutes. Wash off and apply a toner. Moisturise as usual.

Benefits:
Blueberries are excellent for ageing skin, as they are potent in antioxidants and vitamin C. Oatmeal is moisturising and helps remove dead skin cells. Vitamin E oil works to block free radicals from the body, which play a large part in the ageing process. Olive oil can soothe, smooth, and nourish the skin.

4. Watermelon and Strawberry Face Scrub/Mask:

Ingredients Needed:
4 pieces of watermelon.
3 strawberries.
2 table spoons of rice powder (a little coarse and not finely ground). You can use oatmeal instead of rice powder if your skin is very sensitive.
1 tablespoon honey.

How To Make:
Chop the watermelon and strawberries into small pieces. Mash the pieces with the help of a spoon/fork or if you are lazy like me, blend them and make a paste. Add 1 tsp of honey or more if your skin is too dry, as honey hydrates the skin really well and mix it. Then, add 1 tsp of rice powder (as it will not get dissolved). I didn’t have rice powder, so I blended rice and make powder of it. If you find rice powder is too hard for your skin, you can substitute it with oatmeal. Now, the freshly homemade watermelon and strawberry face and body scrub is ready.

5. Guava Face Pack for Instantly Fresh and Glowing Skin:

Ingredients Needed:
A few pieces of guava.
Half a banana
1 tbsp honey.
1 tbsp of yogurt.

Benefits:
Guava helps to improve complexion and it can remove dark spots too. It brightens up dull skin to hide skin tan. Guava is a rich source of Vitamins A, B and C which carry great antioxidant properties. It keeps skin hydrated and also works as a great ageing ingredient. It makes skin instantly clear and fresh. Yogurt works great for a glowing and smooth skin. It also tightens up large pores on the skin. Yogurt has anti aging components which keep your skin younger and flawless. It can change your dull skin and give you a bright, glowing and clear skin. Banana is rich in different vitamins. It can even out your skin tone. It can also prevent dark spots and blemishes. Its powerful nutrients can improve your skin’s texture with their nourishing effects. Banana works amazing for dry skin. Honey is naturally antibacterial, so it’s great for acne treatment. It is full of antioxidants; it is great for anti aging too. It is extremely moisturizing and soothing, so it helps to create a radiant glow. Honey is clarifying because it opens up the pores, making unclogging an easy process.

Procedure:
1. Make a thick paste of guava and banana in the ratio of 1:1. You can separate the seeds from guava paste but here I forgot to do this. This is not a big deal though.
2. Mix the 1 big tablespoon of plain yogurt with the banana paste, and combine them well.
3. Next, add guava paste with the prepared mixture and mix them nicely.
4. Now, the final step is to add some honey to the mixture, and then mix them all nicely.
5. You are ready with your mask. The consistency of this mask should be a little thick. Apply this mask on your cleansed face and leave this on for 30 minutes. Once it dries up completely, rinse with normal water.

All the ingredients are so great for skin and this mask suits every skin type well. It gives a very natural glow to the skin. It helps to provide a bright and fresh effect to my dull face. It also removes the unnecessary darkness on skin and leaves a glowing face. The glow also stays on nicely for a few days.
