In winters, I love having lip colours that offer pigmentation of a lipstick and hydration of a lip balm. The product that has managed to impress me this winter is Stroke of Beauty Mixed Media Lip Shine Quent. Here’s the review.

The Stroke of Beauty Mixed Media Lip Shine Quent comes in a white tube with lip imprints on it. It has ‘Stroke of Beauty’ printed on it. The name of the shade is printed at the bottom of the tube and it offers 2.65 g of product.

My Experience with Stroke of Beauty Mixed Media Lip Shine Quent:

I have loved Ciate London Pretty Stix Murumuru Butter Lipstick in the past and these Mixed Media Lip Shine remind me a lot of them. The shade I have is called Quent, which is a pinky nude shade with a flex of shimmer. This shade is pretty good for everyday use. The lipstick has a very balmy texture that takes a few swipes for the colour to show up on my pigmented lips.

I think this colour will look good on fair to medium skin tones. Since it has a balmy texture it is not as long-lasting as other lipsticks. I get 2 to 3 hours of wear time without eating or drinking and it does get wiped off once you eat or drink anything. Hence, there is a need to reapply. It feels really hydrating and makes my lips look juicy and hydrated.

It adds a pretty shine to the lips also. It makes my lips look fuller and juicy and doesn’t even settle into the lip lines. ‘Quent’ does not feather around my lip lines. It also does not stain my lips. The only drawback is that Stroke of Beauty offers only 6 shades in the Mixed Media Lip Shine range.
