The first time that I saw this brand in a cosmetic store, I jumped on my feet; Neetu’s reviews have tempted me enough to grab this.  The words – “creamy, cocoa butter and shea,” convinced me to buy this because its winter and even the days here are cold and dry, often cloudy. My soul wasn’t satisfied with just one buy; I consulted Jomol and went back again to pick up the other variants and ended with products plus “parking ticket of 500 :P” It’s a ritual here; they don’t make parking areas, feel free to hand over a ticket and then make you roam in the city to find the sergeant holding your driving licence 😛

Product Description:

Enriched with moisturizing milk proteins and the naturally fresh scent of cocoa bean extract, Suave Creamy Naturals Cocoa Butter and Shea will leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and delightfully fragrant. This fresh fragrance smells as good as Bath and Body Works.

Ingredients:

Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamide MEA, Fragrance, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Extract, Hydrolyzed Milk Protein, Honey Extract, Glycol Stearate, Glycerin, PPG-9, Stearamide AMP, Ammonium Chloride, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Blue 1, Red 33, Yellow 5.

How To Use:

Pour a small amount into a wet bath pouf, a wash cloth or directly into hands and treat your skin with the rich creamy lather. Rinse off.

I got it for $ 2.5 approximately (PKR 270) – 454 ml.

My Experience with Suave Naturals Creamy Cocoa Butter and Shea Body Wash:

I like the bottle; and more than that, the color of the body wash. The bottle is transparent and flips open, reflecting the light cocoa color product inside. I have a feel that I might break or leak the bottle in case it is dropped from height! The body wash smells perfectly of cocoa and shea, infused with fresh flower fragrance. The fragrance is divine and gives a luxurious feel in shower, but unfortunately, it doesn’t last long. I feel it vanishes once you step out and dress up.

The body wash is somewhat runny in consistency.  A small amount lathers decently well with loofah or hands, works either way. The lather is rich, rinses off without leaving any greasy feeling, residue or soapy feel. It leaves the skin smooth, clean and hydrated. The body wash didn’t rip off moisture from my skin, but because the weather is cold and dry, I had to put on extra moisturizer. I guess it’s the fault of weather and not the product.  Suave works well with what it claims and the body wash alone shall be sufficient when the climate is not that dry.  I noticed one thing that it controls body odour, it doesn’t contain parabens thankfully, but you can see SLS in the ingredients.

Overall, I am very impressed and happy with the pick. Thanks to IMBB for introducing me to Suave, else I would have never tried this 🙂

• Pretty moisturizing for moderate weather.

• A small quantity lathers decently.
• Free of parabens.
• Will last you long without boring you.

Cons of Suave Naturals Creamy Cocoa Butter and Shea Body Wash:

• SLS, but it is common in a lot of cosmetic products.
• Extra moisturizer required for body if you live in colder regions (if its 6 °-7 ° C at nights/morning).

I have already got other variants and I think it justifies my repurchase. For recommendation, I would rather suggest not to give this a miss.
