I usually try out hair products after reading reviews, or at least after seeing them on some website. This Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Moisturizing Conditioner, however, is an exception. I found this conditioner lying on the shelf of my friend’s bathroom and tried it on my hair. I had not expected it to do what it did to me.

My Experience with Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Moisturizing Conditioner:

Packaging: A pale green not-so sturdy plastic bottle with a flip cap.

Texture and Smell: Neither thick nor runny. It is just perfect creamy. Also, it makes detangling very easy. As far as preadability is concerned, I could not have asked for more. I would like to point out that it has an amazing, sweet smell.

Let me put it in one line before going further – This is the best conditioner I have ever used!

I applied a palmful of this to my shampooed hair, detangling my hair into sections. It’s usually said that applying conditioner on the crown area leaves it greasy, but I beg to differ. If I don’t apply conditioner to my crown, my hair looks unkempt and frizzy. Then, I left the conditioner on for about 3-5 minutes. I towel dried my hair and left it to air dry overnight.

The next morning, I woke up to the best curls I have ever owned! They were so well hydrated and defined. So defined, that I could sit and count the number of turns on each ringlet *wide toothed smile*. I was literally jumping with joy. There was no frizz, nor was there any fly-a-ways. My hair felt healthy and bouncy. I absolutely adore this product.

It’s got almonds and Shea butter, both known for their amazing hydrating properties. This product is the one that first introduced me to Shea butter and after this, I started my hunt for anything that has got Shea butter in it. I am really unhappy that Suave products aren’t available at supermarkets in India. I have to purchase a product as cheap as our sunsilk or dove conditioners by paying almost 5 times the actual price.
