My love for Sugar Cosmetics is not new. Honestly saying, Sugar Cosmetics is my most favorite makeup brand. I absolutely love each and every product from them and, in fact, own the complete range. Their products are just mind-blowing. I decided to grab this mascara and immediately ordered it. Here is the review.

How to Apply:
Look straight ahead #likeaboss and start with the bottom lashes while putting on the mascara so that the top lashes don’t smudge when you look down. Place your wand at the base of your lashes and using a zig-zag motion, move the wand up your lashes.

My Experience with Sugar Cosmetics Black With A Bang Lash Mob Limitless Mascara:
Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. As usual the mascara comes in a unique packaging. The green and black cardboard box has geometric patterns printed on it to form a girl’s face. This box has the ingredients list, shelf life and other details about the product mentioned on it. The box is nice, but not very strong. Inside this box, comes a long, matte black colored cylindrical mascara tube. The tube has the shade details and the brand name imprinted on it in simple white fonts, just like all sugar products.
I love the matte packaging of sugar products. It looks so sophisticated and classy. The cylindrical tube has a sticker at its base, indicating the shelf life. The tube closes with a typical screw on cap. The cap has the mascara applicator attached to it. The applicator wand is neither too long nor too short. It has the right length to apply the mascara nicely. The applicator is of good quality and gives very précise application. Overall, I just love everything about the packaging of the product.
The shade is named “Black With A Bang”. I really expected it to be extremely black or something but it actually is a normal black mascara. I love the fact that this mascara does not contain any fibers or something like my Maybelline The Magnum Barbie Mascara because they are really difficult to remove, and the fine fibers in the mascara get into my eyes and irritate them so much. So, I love that there is no such thing in this mascara. It is pretty safe to be used on my sensitive eyes and with contact lenses. It does not cause any eye irritation or watering of eyes. The mascara is decently pigmented but it takes two-three swipes to show up proper mascara effects on the eyes.
In terms of texture, the mascara is slightly on the thicker side. It actually felt like dried up when I tried swatching it on my hand but it looks perfect on my eyes. The mascara can be applied nicely using this applicator on the lower lash line without messing the area around. The mascara does provide a little volume to the lashes but it did nothing to make them look longer. It gives light curling effect to the eyelashes even without an eyelash curler. And, it makes my eyes look wide open. It is smudgeproof and stays in place for a really long time. It is also waterproof up to some extent. I mean, it will not come off with a splash of water but might come off if it comes in contact with a lot of water. Though it is smudge proof, it smudges easily on vigorous rubbing of eyes. But, these are actually not cons for me.
The lasting power of this mascara is somewhere around 6 hours or so, which is again great! The mascara is easy to remove. All you need is a good eye makeup remover and you will be done. It just gets removed with a few swipes only. Overall, this is another great product from Sugar Cosmetics. 🙂
