My Experience with Sugar Cosmetics Blend the Rules Eyeshadow Quad 04 Chandelier:
Packaging: Eye shadow quad comes in a cute coral container with a magnetic closure lid. This is made of strong cardboard and that’s why it feels extremely light. It is strong enough and good in quality that is perfect to carry around easily and it looks really pretty. Also, it comes with a dual ended sponge applicator which you can use if you want. It is not that bad, but I always prefer my brushes. Only drawback is that it doesn’t have any mirror. Also, the palette often gets messy with shimmers.
Shades and Pigmentation: I picked the shade “04 Chandelier” which is a beautiful rose gold quad. This palette contains four shades and I like the combination of shades. All the shades are shimmery in this palette. These shades are very trendy and I really love it. Now, let’s describe the individual shades.
Shade 1: The top most shade is a beautiful natural champagne gold shade for highlighting and it is the lightest shade in this palette.
Shade 2: Next is a beautiful deep bronze gold shade that looks absolutely stunning and the shimmers look extremely shinny.
Shade 3: Next is a gorgeous warm copper shade and it has a nice metallic look too. Such shade is perfect for parties.
Shade 4: This is a very nice natural rose pink shade with a sheen of gold. I love this shade most and it looks stunning on eyes.
Now, all these shades are super pigmented and require few swipes only. On hand swatches, they looked extremely pigmented, but once I started blending on eyes, they appeared little light. But, wet application makes it super pigmented. They give beautiful color pay off and look so nice on eyes. Such shades are perfect for all skin tones and goes with any outfits.
Texture and Quality: All the shades have extremely soft buttery texture that blends effortlessly on eyes. They never feel patchy or powdery and it gets blend so smoothly with a light hand application. I love its smooth flawless finish. It contains shimmers and they give a stunning metallic look on eyes. Shades mix with each other well, so I can get a natural silky application. It also doesn’t crease. I really love its quality and the formula feels so light on eyes. You can even blend it with fingers. Since it contains a lot of shimmers, it falls a bit during application. Otherwise, it’s a stunning formulated eye shadow palette.
Staying Power: Now, these colors stay nice on eyes without any creasing or mess. They stay in place and survive a long day easily. It almost stays for around 6-7 hours without any fading. With primer, it lasts long and these shades are easy to remove as well.
Overall, I got my current favorite shades and I love it. I can easily create a nice pretty day look as well as a wearable night look. Such shades are perfect to all and look very natural on eyes. Also, it has beautiful quality that is totally worth the buy at this price.
