My Experience with Sugar Cosmetics Goddess of Flawless SPF 30 + BB Cream:
This BB cream comes in a pretty-looking black tube along with a paper box with all the information printed over it. It is a very simple and basic packaging but is totally easy to carry around. Now, this range offers just four shades, which is quite limited. But they have good shades for Indian tanned skin tones. I have medium tanned complexion and the shade 03 Chococcino is a nice match for my skin tone.
It is warm medium shade with a golden undertone, hence it is perfect for medium to tanned complexions. There is just one dark shade which might not be enough for other dusky skin tones. Personally, I’m perfectly satisfied with this shade and it doesn’t leave any white cast on my skin. The shade is decently pigmented, and as a BB cream, it provides good medium coverage to the skin and looks very natural.
It’s perfect for a no-makeup makeup look and good for daily purpose. It can even out my skin tone well and hide minimal imperfections, such as slight redness, dark circle, normal spots and pigmentation. Also, I can build up the coverage easily. For dark circles or very dark spots, you have to use a concealer. Otherwise, on my normal looking skin, it looks so good. You can see my images below to see how it makes my skin look.
This BB cream has a super smooth mousse-like texture which glides effortlessly on the skin. I use both sponge and brush to apply this BB cream. It blends well with both the tools and provides a smooth flawless base. But, as usual, it provides lesser coverage with the sponge than the brush. The product feels very comfortable and lightweight on the skin. It instantly provides a smooth, soft and fresh skin.
It has a beautiful, velvety-matte finish that never feels dry on the skin and it never makes the skin oily either. It also provides a good amount of hydration to the skin which keeps the skin soft. Dry skinned people will have to use a good moisturiser underneath to keep the skin soft for long. Otherwise, people with oily skin would definitely love it. It makes the skin naturally healthy as well. It never highlights or clings to dry patches.
It suits my sensitive skin well and doesn’t break me out. It doesn’t have any particular smell to it, so it won’t bother anyone. It gives a seamless smooth finish that looks beautiful, even in photographs. It never clogs the pores and controls oil too. This foundation stays nicely for around 6 hours; after that, it starts to fade slightly but I must say it is a long-lasting product. It also keeps the skin fresh for long.
This product also doesn’t crease or settle into the fine lines, but by the end of the day, my T-zone looks slightly oily. Since I have super oily skin I prefer to use a setting powder over it for best results. Overall, I really like it as an everyday base product as it feels ultra-light and looks natural on the skin.
This cream is perfect for no-makeup makeup looks and it actually looks like my-skin-but-better. Also, it has SPF 30+, which is good enough to keep the skin protected from the sun. There are only four shades but they are not enough for the Indian skin tones. Otherwise, I love it. I haven’t used any concealer or powder in both of the pictures. The first image was clicked under daylight and the second one was clicked in a room at night.
