Skin Tone: Fair to Medium
Sugar Cosmetics has recently come up with a new range of lip crayons, suitable for the Indian skin tones. The range is a mix of bold and nude shades. Being already in love with their crayons, I decided to get my hands on one of these new shades. So, I chose the shade Jackie Brown. Let’s see how it fared for me.

My Experience with Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick 08 Jackie Brown:
The crayon comes in a basic sleek cardboard packaging. It has the name of the brand and the shade name written over it. The crayon is sleek with the brand and shade name printed over it. The bottom of the crayon is color-coded, hence you can easily find the desired shade in your stash. The lipper comes along with a sharpener, which is specially designed for these crayons.
Shade, Texture and Pigmentation:
The shade I chose is ‘Jackie Brown’, which is basically a reddish brown shade. I would describe this shade as a terracotta brown. This is a unique colour and will look amazing on all Indian skin tones.
These lipstick crayons are very soft and creamy. They glide easily onto your lips without tugging or stretching them. Jackie Brown is creamy in consistency and sets to a beautiful matte colour on the lips.
This crayon is super duper pigmented. I am totally bowled over with the pigmentation. Only one swipe will give you full coverage.
It stays on for good 6-7 hours on my lips without smudging. It does not transfer either. However, if I am having a meal, the lipper tends to fade from the inner corners of the lips. But then, that’s the case with most lipsticks.
I am just in love with the shade and its formulations. These crayons have once again impressed me. Sugar Cosmetics has built up the shades and formulations keeping the Indian skin tones in my mind. And honestly, these crayons have turned out to be so amazing.
