The packaging looks very chic and funky, just like all other Sugar Cosmetics products. The kohl pencil is a regular, sleek, black sharp-enable pencil. There is a colour coded band at the edge of the body of the pencil which helps to identify the shade easily. Also, the body of the kohl has a matte finish. The cap sits securely in place. The kohl comes with a sharpener. The fresh tip lasts for 2-3 uses, after which it can be sharpened. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and travel friendly. It is also sleek and easy to use.

Sugar Cosmetics Stroke Of Genius Heavy Duty Kohl Green Light is a stunning emerald green colour which looks gorgeous. It is a bright shade. The pigmentation and texture of Green Light is amazing. As you can see in the swatches, this shade has changed the whole eye makeup game and it is a great shade option to create colourful eye makeup looks.

However, you can apply 2-3 swipes for drawing thicker lines. You would not have to apply pressure for drawing the lines on your eyes. The formula is really great and the colour shows up well on the eyes. It is super creamy and the strokes are neat. The tip wears off easily with little pressure though.

The texture of this eye pencil is extremely soft and smooth. It glides on smoothly like a dream, without any tug or pull. The formula is creamy and blends like a dream. The application is very smooth and even. This liner is devoid of any glitter or shimmer, gives a nice, velvety matte finish to the eyes.

The formula of this pencil is great, but takes some time to set on the eyelids. It is not completely smudge proof. If you rub your eyes, the colour does transfer, otherwise it remains intact in place.

The liner sets to a gorgeous, velvety, and semi-matte finish, which I absolutely love. It does not look patchy or dry. It gives a flawless, silky finish. It also does not irritate or sting eyes.

Sugar Cosmetics Stroke Of Genius Heavy Duty Kohl Green Light stays on eyelids for a decent amount of time, but it’s not a long-lasting eyeliner. On my oily eyelids, it stays for about 6-7 hours and on the waterline, the intensity fades away quite quickly. It doesn’t crease, but women with oily lids should prime their lids first to increase the longevity of the liner.

Sugar Cosmetics Stroke Of Genius Heavy Duty Kohl Green Light comes off easily with any makeup remover. I use Garnier Micellar Water for removing this liner.
