Tanaya Asks:

Hey! ๐Ÿ™‚

I am going on a vacation to Mauritius in October. I need an advice for a good sunscreen. I don’t really use a sunscreen because whenever I do, I usually end up with break outs. I have tried Lotus, Neutrnutrogena, and garnier. I’m 19, fair complexion-ed, and have normal skin but sometimes end up with an oily t-zone. Anything under 2K is ok! (wow, that rhymes. :P) Also, please advice something that won’t leave a weird white cast. I REALLY need suggestions, budget being upto 2000 bucks. ASAP! Please help!

Thanks, in vance. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. love jovees sunscreens, they are fabulous never break me out and bring a kind of glow on face.

    never liked lotus or neutrogena.

  2. Vichy Capital Soleil or Vichy UV ProSecure. High SPF (40-50), certified non-comedogenic, excellent if you have mixed/oily skin (comes for dry skin too). I have an oily acne prone skin and these have worked excellently for me. I am more partial towards UV ProSecure as I feel it gives a more matt feel. My search for the perfect sunscreen ended with this ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. And yes, they do leave a minimal white cast (as with any sunblcok with high SPF), but it settles down in 15mins. One anyways has to apply the sunblock at least 15-20mins before leaving home.

  3. i agree with so many of the others above. La Roche Posay is really good. it hasnt broken me out..Lotus and Neutrogena have ๐Ÿ™

  4. La roche wud probably break u out as the above mentioned all are chemical sunscreens. And ppl who are sensitive towards seunscreen can only us ePhysical sunblocks with the ingredients Titanium di oxide and zinc. I even broke out with my dermatologist prescribed sunscreen but never with Clinique sheer city block spf 25. Another option for sensitive acne prone skin is Dermalogica sunscreen for very sensitive skin . Both are Physical sunblocks ๐Ÿ™‚ hope this helps

  5. I want the la roche posay sunscreen now after reading the comments! Any idea if it is available in mumbai? or even india?

  6. Hey Beauties!!
Can some one please suggest me on Kaya Sunscreen & the services they provide for tan removal??
I got facial done at Kaya & I ended up with rashes & pimples on my face (I have very sensitive & oily skin) although it was suggested by the dermatologist there. I have taken service pack for Rs. 3000 which includes three facials but after my experience of the first session of facial, I can’t dare to take the second one..but I have already paid..can some one suggest whether I should take the tan removal service instead of facial..or suggest me any other alternative..thanx in advance..stay gorgeous!!
