My Experience with Sukin Hydrating Body Lotion:
The packaging is interesting. The lotion comes in a tall and dark plastic container. It has a pump dispenser with a narrow opening. The container is dark to protect the product from sunlight. It has a neutral colored label, providing all details about the product. I have dry-sensitive skin. I bought this lotion thinking it will be perfect as it contains so many natural oils.
The consistency of the body lotion is pretty thick when compared to other lotions. The lotion itself is white in color. The lotion, in spite of having a thick consistency, spreads very well all over the skin. The lotion glides smoothly on the skin but does not feel greasy.
The lotion has a kind of cooling effect when applied and the skin feels little moist after application. But the lotion gets absorbed within a minute and the skin feels smooth and soft. One cannot see the trace of the lotion on the skin.
The skin is very well moisturized and I feel nice whenever I use this body lotion. I tend to use extra lotion because of its thick consistency. I am sure that I do not need so much but I am so used to pumping a ton of product out and then applying all over my body.
The fragrance is pleasant and mild. This product has no added perfume so it basically smells of the ingredients. The fragrance vanishes after 30 minutes or so. One does not have to be bothered about the fragrance of the ingredients.
The product is enriched with aloe vera, sesame seeds and rosehip oil. I am using it during cold winter months and it works perfectly. My skin feels soothed and well-nourished. Overall, I am totally satisfied with the product and its results. I know it’s on the pricey side but love the results and the feeling of this lotion.
