I always believe that cleanser is the most crucial product in anyone’s skin care routine. It doesn’t matter how many lotions and potions you use to keep your skin healthy, if your cleanser is not good then your skin will never be happy. So, I am very fussy when it comes to cleanser. Today, I will be reviewing a cleanser called Su:m 37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick aka my HG Cleanser. Su:m 37 is a high-end Korean brand introduced by LG Household and Health Care. Yes, it is the same LG that manufactures mobiles, televisions etc. All the products from this brand are made from naturally fermented ingredients. Su:m means “respiration” and 37 is the optimal temperature used for fermentation.

The most expensive product from this brand is Centenica 1909 cream, which retails for about $1000 USD for 50 ml. The cream contains world’s best fermented ingredients like Chateau d’Yquem wine, balsamic vinegar of Modena, Indian Ginseng etc. which are fermented for a minimum of 12 years. All Su:m 37 products are free from artificial colors and synthetic preservatives. Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick is one of the best-selling products from their brand. Let’s see what is so good in it.

My Experience with Su:m 37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick:

When I first heard about this cleanser…I was like “Seriously?…Miracle?..Rose?..in a stick??”. I always like to try everything that sounds and looks different. So, I had to hunt for this and finally got it. At one point, the company had discontinued this product for some time because of the shortage of the special roses they use in this product and they were unable to meet the excessive demand.

The Su:m 37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick comes in a sturdy peachy-pink plastic cylindrical shaped container. The packaging just looks like a XXXL sized lip balm and also easy to hold. The stick is like white solid balm with rose petals scattered in it. To use it, open the cap and simply twist the bottom of the tube till about 1 cm of the stick comes out of the tube. Then, wet your face and rub the stick on your face in circular motion. At this step, you will feel like you are in a garden of roses. Don’t waste this precious cleanser by rubbing too much. I do 2 swirls on each cheek and one swirl on forehead, nose and chin. Then, massage it with your wet fingers and indulge the rich, luxurious lather it forms. You can even feel the rose petals on your face. Though they do not do any exfoliation, you cannot ignore the roses when they are on your face, right? After enough pampering, wash your face with water and pat dry and then, get amazed by how smooth and soft your skin feels. Your face feels squeaky clean without even a slight hint of tight or dry feeling on your face. Your face will be glowing and smell like roses. Considering the amount of product you need for each use it will last roughly for about 5 to 6 months. Since, it claims to be hypoallergenic, you can use even if you have sensitive skin.

Previously, every time I wash my face I had to rush to my cabinet to apply moisturizer. I have been using this cleansing stick from more than a month and my skin never felt like it going to explode after washing. I have introduced hell lot of new skin care products in my routine since past four months and my skin never felt this good in winters, and I feel the major credit goes to this cleanser only. I am using this cleanser mostly in my AM routine so that I can start my day with the scent of roses. And also I can save this for a few more days than it usually lasts. Overall, I am so happy to find my HG cleanser that works exactly how I wanted to.
