Here is another product that was a must-have for me on my recent trip. Since our trip was all about fun in the sun, 😉 sun protection was must, not just for the face and body, but for delicate lips too! This time, I picked this little friend from Sun Bum for my lips. 🙂
Grab as many as you can because we literally can’t keep any of our lip balm flavors in stock. Our smooth SPF 30 sunscreen lip balm with added Aloe and Vitamin E will protect and moisturize your kisser all day long… just try not to lick it off.

My Experience with Sun Bum SPF 30 Coconut Lip Balm:
Sun Bum Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Coconut Lip Balm comes in a slender tube which has a rotating wheel at the bottom to swivel the product up. I have been using it from the past two weeks and have not faced any issue with the product not swiveling down back. 🙂 It is very sleek and you can easily slip it in your jeans’ pocket.
The product is white in color and comes out colorless. It looks pretty thick like Vaseline and I had many thoughts going around in my mind when I used it for the first time. I did not want a thick layer on my lips. :/ But when I swiped it on, I was mighty surprised. It felt as if I had applied oil on my lips. It went on that effortlessly and smoothly! It imparts a nice sheen to the lips and does not feel heavy at all. My lips instantly felt so smooth and not at all sticky. It totally restored the moisture and nourished my lips.
Coming to the fragrance, the product also comes in a pomegranate variant. I tried finding that because I am not a fan of coconut, but alas, that was not in stock anywhere and I picked this one. I would have taken even the neem flavor if it said sun protection for lips and this was still just coconut. 😛 But the surprise was in store here as well. It smells like pineapples. As soon as I applied it, it felt like I have applied a pineapple-flavored tropical drink on my lips. 😉 It tastes sweet too. 😛
It soothes my lips and Aloe and Vitamin E in the ingredients, surely work. It protected my lips from harsh sun too. I applied it throughout the day we were at the sea and by the end of it too, my lips were smooth and supple. It doesn’t stay for long though. Since its texture is like an oil on the lips, it fades away with eating and drinking and with just water, it could stay for just a couple of hours.
However, only the shine disappears and my lips feel smooth for another couple of hours. But with the lovely fragrance, I do not mind reapplying it either. But due to the oil-like texture, it is not a great product to be used under lipstick.
