With my dull and dry skin, I always look for good hydrating and brightening serum and creams. Generally, vitamin C serums are the ones that I pick to add brightness to my face, but Emma Hardie Moisture Boost Vitamin C Serum was a new concept for me as it promised to offer hydration with brightness. I really liked how Emma Hardie worked on my skin, so I picked Sunday Riley C.E.O. C + E antiOXIDANT Protect + Repair Moisturizer.
A hydrating moisturizer that infuses skin with high-potency, advanced vitamin C (THD ascorbate) to fight the first visible signs of aging while providing powerful antioxidant support. Solutions for: - Fine lines and wrinkles - Dryness If you want to know more… C.E.O. C + E Protect and Repair Moisturizer infuses five percent advanced, oxygen-stable tetrahexydecyl ascorbate (THD ascorbate) into the skin—the gold standard form of vitamin C. THD ascorbate is the newer, clinically-proven, oil-soluble derivative of vitamin C, which penetrates better into the skin while being exceptionally stable against oxygenation. With 5 percent THD ascorbate, this moisturizer is powerful at fighting the first visible signs of aging and restoring vital skin radiance, while being uniquely suitable for those with sensitive skin, as THD ascorbate is significantly less irritating than other forms of vitamin C. Once in the skin, it helps boost youthful-looking skin texture and volume, in addition to providing photostable, antioxidant support. Blended with protective, anti-pollution expopolysaccharides and refining lime pearl extract, this formula visibly repairs the effects of aging, environmental stress, and pollution-induced damage. It is rich yet never greasy, providing hydration and antioxidant protection to the skin for a visibly younger, softer, and healthier-looking complexion. What it is formulated WITHOUT: - Parabens - Sulfates - Phthalates What else you need to know: THD ascorbate (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate) is the superior form of vitamin C. It is more stable and less irritating than ascorbic acid and other vitamin C derivatives.
My Experience with Sunday Riley C.E.O. C + E antiOXIDANT Protect + Repair Moisturizer:
Sunday Riley CEO C+ e antioxidant cream comes housed in an orange jar consisting of 50 ml product in it. The name of the brand and product are printed on the jar. I have already reviewed Emma Hardie Vitamin C cream which I really loved, so I picked up this Sunday Riley cream which is a similar product. The texture of this cream is slightly thick, very creamy, soft to touch, and has a citrus scent to it.
It does feel a little heavy on the face, that’s the reason I don’t prefer using both cream and serum together. On my initial application of this cream, I felt it was making my skin oily, but as it got absorbed, my skin looked hydrated. This cream is for my lazy days, when I just want to use one single product and be done with my skincare. It works as both serum and moisturizer for me.
The hydration that Sunday riley vitamin ceo c+ e antioxidant cream provides last for full day on me and with usage of over 20 days, I can see my skin look bright and even-ed out, what’s more, even my smile lines have disappeared.
This cream will work best in winters I guess with the amount of hydration it provides.
