Sunsilk Co-Creations Dream Soft & Smooth Nourishing Conditioner
Hello IMBB!!!
Today I am coming up with the review of a conditioner. I seldom use conditioner as I feel that conditioners weigh down my hair and make them oily the very next day of shampooing. I prefer conditioning my hair in natural ways using cud, henna and hot oil massages. Because of these reasons I do not feel the needs for conditioning as my hair are in a very good condition already. But sometimes when I shampoo my hair without oiling them I use conditioner so as my hair do not become dry or rough. The conditioner I am reviewing here is Sunsilk Co-Creations Dream Soft & Smooth Nourishing Conditioner. Please read out more to check how it made my hair.
What the company claims about the product:
Sunsilk has teamed up with Thomas Taw from London, founder of BobSoho Salon, famous for resuscitating damaged hair, to co-create Sunsilk’s Dream Soft and Smooth formulation for hair that is silky soft to touch.
Ingredients: Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone and Amodimethicone and PEG-7 Propylheptyl Ether and Cetrimonium Chloride, Behentrimonium Chloride, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Methyl Paraben, Disodium EDTA, Lactic Acid, Lysine Hydrochloride, Panthenol, Ceramide 2, Egg Yolk Extract, Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone, CI 15985, CI 19140.
Price: 56 INR for 100ml
Packaging: Comes in a yellow plastic tube with a flip cap. The cap is tight enough to prevent any leakage hence very travel friendly. The problem with the tube is that it is opaque so it’s hard to judge the quantity left inside.
Shelf Life: 3 years
My experience with the product:
I would start by telling that I have normal problem free hair except for the not often problem of dandruff when the weather changes. I just treat my hair with natural homemade conditioners. But there are times when my hairs suffer the most. The times when I have to shampoo them without applying oil or curd pack. I feel pity that without giving them the nourishment I am washing them with loads of chemicals. Thus, I make up for the loss using conditioners at such times. This makes my hair soft like silk and me happy again. 🙂 This conditioner from Sunsilk is pretty good at the job of making my hair look good. This is a cream based conditioner in white color which is supposed to be used with the shampoo from the same range reviewed here . I have used it along with the same shampoo and with different shampoos too. It works fine in either case. It did not make my hair oily even after two days of washing my hair. I did not weigh down my hair either. Just a normal day to day conditioner which will not bother you much apart from the chemically loaded ingredients list, but again that is the most common thing today in all the products.
Pros of the conditioner:
- Very Light weight
- Makes hair soft and manageable
- Does not makes hair greasy and oily
- Hair does not look dull even after 2 days of shampooing
- Did not cause any hair fall or any other problem
- Leaves a nice fragrance after rinsing
Cons of the conditioner:
- Chemicals!!!!!
- It takes a lot of time to rinse the hair after conditioning.
Finally, I would like to recommend this to all who want to have smooth, shiny and silky hair after every wash. This conditioner would give you best results when used along with Sunsilk dream Soft and Smooth Shampoo which has been reviewed here on IMBB.

Same here Rama!!!
Until 2 years back i was using Pink Sunsilk, my Hair was so thick that time, the day i changed to DOVE was the end of my “Good Hair”, Hair fall started then and it didnt Stop till now  😥
Now i am thinking to get back to sunsilk itself..
Old is gold Shami.. 🙂
This is my fave affordable everyday conditioner. I have extremely dry and frizzy hair and most everyday conditioners, like those of l’oreal and dove don’t work for me. Even the other sunsilk conditioners like the pink one doesn’t work for my hair. But this is such an affordable and effective conditioner! However, I prefer the hair fall solution conditioner from sunsilk over this, because it is a little better at conditioning. Among the shampoos, the orange one is giving me surprisingly good results. I’ll do a review soon. I agree with Shami here, why go for dove or l’oreal(or that all-looks-no-substance fiama di wills) when you have good old sunsilk? Even the clinic plus conditioner is better than them.
I have just used this Yellow one… Will try the Golden one for sure now.. 🙂
sunsilk always worked for me..wonder why i stopped using it 🙂 i have used the earlier variant and it worked pretty well for me 🙂 thanks for reviewing i might get it next time!

Meow… I agree but today it’s difficult to find products without chemicals.. 😮 We are left with no other choice.. 😮
after shampoo , take out all water from hair using towel , then apply conditioner ..keep in for 3-4 mins ..then rinse off ,do this deep conditioning with any of your fav. conditioner gives great effect.
Hey gals… I have been using this conditioner for quite sometime and I must say that it is worth more than its cost…my hair becomes super soft and manageable after rinsing with this conditioner. I have used L’oreal and Dove products but none has given me the result i desire..for people who want to fight hair fall, can follow this easy tip which has an instant result (It works for me and I never skip this step) Prior to hairwash use medium amount of coconut/olive oil(so that you dont feel too sticky and less amount of shampoo is used) and massage lightly on ur scalp, you may massage it for like 5/10 mins….followed with steam..(I use the regular facial steamer) This will help the oil seep inside your scalp and get the maximum benefit….you can go ahead for your hairwash and I can guarantee there will be less number of hair strands on your bathroom floor….trust me on this….I had total 5 hair strand and yes i counted those…lol…. Try this trick and let me know if the same works for you 🙂
