I have mentioned here so many times that I have fine dull hair and I am always in the search of good hair products that can infuse some life into my hair. And what better than hair food, keratin to try! Therefore I got this Sunsilk Keratinology Dual treatment shots to try. Scroll to know if this worked for my hair.

Price: – Rs. 300 but I got for Rs. 90 from a shop near my place which had an awesome sale on these! 😀

Quantity: – 15 ml of conditioner and 5 ml of Serum.

Packaging: – The pack consists of two tubes which have a tear open type cap.

My experience with Sunsilk Keratinology Dual Treatment Shots:

First thing first. The packaging is kind of nice with easy to use tubes with no hassles of dipping your finger in it. One tube contains a hair mask type cream which is supposed to be used after shampooing your hair. The pack says to use it on mid length and ends of hair. I shampooed my hair with my regular shampoo and applied this along the lengths of my hair. The cream is kind of thick and if you have used L’Oreal total repair masque you will know because both have the same consistency. I kept it for 5 minutes and then rinsed it thoroughly. These tubes have a one-time open screw cap so it’s kind of obvious that it’s for one time use.

But the quantity says otherwise. I can easily use the quantities of both the tubes for 2 uses but we cannot store these so I gave some to my cousin to use but they should provide a cap that can be tightened again. After towel-drying my hair, I applied the serum along the lengths and especially on the ends. The serum is not light in consistency. In fact it’s kind of oil but it didn’t make my hair greasy. It evaporated after few minutes leaving my hair dry. My hair was more manageable, less frizzy and shinier after the process. I could actually feel less hairfall and breakage. So overall it’s actually a great hair treatment/ hair spa at this price. For Rs. 300 I would think twice because it’s just one time use. I would get a big tub of actual hair spa cream by adding a few bucks. So if you get a deal, it’s a great weekly treatment for your hair. I have already got 5 packs from that neighborhood shop for a nice Sunday hair spa.

2) Makes hair shinier, more manageable.
3) Reduces hairfall.
4) Great weekly hair treatment if you get a deal.
5) No awkward smell.

Cons of Sunsilk Keratinology Dual Treatment shots:-

1) Expensive at its actual cost.
2) Tubes cannot be sealed again and the quantity is more so you either have to throw it away or share it with someone in your family.
3) Serum will weigh down the hair down if used more than required.
