9 Super Foods for Healthy and Luscious Hair

A bad hair day completely ruins our outfit. Every girl desires to have beautiful tresses, but not everyone is lucky to have them. I have really thin hair; no matter what I wear I am always conscious about my hair. No amount of shampooing, oiling, deep conditioning has helped so far. So now I have resorted to natural ingredients. I have improved my diet a little too. I will not say that it has helped me tremendously, but yes my hair fall has decreased and that’s a first step. So, here is a list of few great ingredients that you can also incorporate in your diet. And trust me they work!

Almonds have manganese and vitamin E. Magnesium is an essential mineral for growth of healthy strands. You can just eat these healthy nuts in moderation or you can apply almond oil to your hair. Just massage your scalp with almond oil once or twice a week, it’s a great moisturizing treatment for your hair and this oil gently smoothes the hair cuticles and nourishes the scalp.

Yogurt:

We ladies use yogurt in so many hair and skin DIYs. It has so many health benefits as it is rich in proteins and lactic acid that is beneficial to treat dull and damaged hair. Just mix together yogurt and some ground methi seeds and apply it on your scalp regularly. Leave it on for 45 minutes before you wash it off. This is a great treatment to reduce hair fall. I have been using this from last 2 months, once a week and it has really helped.

And if you suffer from dandruff issues you can just directly apply yogurt on your scalp and leave it on for about 40 minutes before you rinse it off with a mild shampoo.
