SuperGoop Mint Fusion Lip Balm with SPF 30+ Review

I was not satisfied with the Alba Botanica Lip care SPF 25. So well; again I was on the lookout for a lip balm with sunscreen. While purchasing the SuperGoop sunscreen, I picked up the lip balm too. It sounded yummy, mint fusion and all 😉

So here I am, with a review of the SuperGoop SPF 30 mint fusion lip balm. Let’s see whether it is worth your money or not!

My Experience with the SuperGoop Mint Fusion Lip Balm with SPF 30+:

This lip balm comes in a tube packaging with and ergonomic applicator. It perfectly along to the lip contour, so it’s great to touch up without worrying about smudging. It is especially great to put over lipsticks as even if the lipstick transfers, it can be wiped with a tissue. With chap sticks, I feel, it is difficult, as the lipstick gets transferred to the product itself.

Another added advantage is that we have control over the amount of product that comes out, so with the perspective of hygiene too, it is great.

The lip balm itself has soft and lighter Vaseline texture. It applies smoothly and gives a really subtle sheen to the lips. Nothing sticky or icky like Vaseline ,but,my lips feel as if I have eaten too much salt, you know the feeling right. I don’t mean texture-wise, but in terms of the way my lips feel.

Immediately, I am unable to judge the mint in the balm. But within 30 seconds, I smell and feel sweet peppermint scent and tingling sensation. Actually the minty fresh scent and feeling is quite pleasant.

I would have given this product full marks, as a lip balm, but since it sits on the lips, even a little bit, I am going to take away one point.

• Fresh sweet minty fragrance

Cons of SuperGoop Mint Fusion Lip Balm with SPF 30+:

• Very little, but still, a bit tacky on lips.

Final Verdict: This is the best SPF lip balm that I have ever used. It is handy, ergonomically designed and has an awesome minty fragrance. I just might repurchase this one.
