Tarte Cheek Stain in Blissful
IMBB Sponsored Product
Hey IMBBians,

Back with another review for today. And guess what?? This is the one that adds more beauty on our face when we blush. Yes its cheek stain from Tarte. This one appears as a dark shade when you look at it first but when you apply you would be pleasantly surprised with the cool subtle pinkness it adds to the cheek.
Price: $30 for 0.5 oz

Product Description: The stain that started it all. Tarte’s award-winning and best-selling cheek stain gives you a gorgeous, natural flush in a gel or cream consistency. Rounded top cheek stains are gel based stains, while flat top cheek stains are the cream based version.
My experience with Tarte Cheek Stain in Blissful:
Its packaging is ok, stick type one that comes with a protective cap. That’s a good thought because the cap protects the product from dust and keeps it clean. You have to push the bottom so that the blush comes out. The texture of the blush is soft and creamy. It’s a little light and transparent. It really blends well when applied on the cheeks (You don’t have to try that hard to get the perfect look, just using the stick in the right way is enough). I got the shade Blissful that is a peachy pink. It looks very dark but when you apply the color on your skin it is really different and beautiful. It’s more of pink and peach mixed when applied on cheeks.
Staying power is really good for the price. It stays for a long 6 hours. It has a kind of weird smell but that’s just when you open the blush and then you don’t get any scent from it so it’s kind of ok. The blush doesn’t have any shimmer in it and is well pigmented. Even if you apply extra layers it looks great and subtle. I feel comfortable blending it with my hands as the cream glides well when you give that right pressure.
Pros of Tarte Cheek Stain in Blissful:
• Nice creamy texture
• Awesome staying power. Upto 6 hours
• No Shimmer
• Nice shade
• Easy to blend and use
• Doesn’t breakout
• No Parabens
• Light and subtle and has such ingredients that even sensitive skin can use it
• Even though its price is on the higher side the quantity lasts for long
Cons of Tarte Cheek Stain in Blissful:
• Very Expensive
• The protective cap on the top is hard to open and you get some particles on hand before applying
• Initially it gives out a weird smell for few seconds
IMBB Rating: In spite of these 3 cons I would like to give 5/5 for its brilliant creamy texture and easy blending that gives a natural look to the cheeks. It looks wonderful and glowing. All those who prefer a long lasting and gel like cheek stain should try this and you sure would like to give the same rating I have given. This is a must try product, even though it’s pricey. The product is worth it every penny.
