Today, I am here to share my views about Tarte Confidence Creamy Powder Foundation in the shade light-medium neutral. It’s a powder based foundation and gives medium to full coverage to my skin. Do read on to know more.

How to Use:
This creamy powder foundation can be worn wet or dry. For fuller coverage, apply it wet using a setting spray or water to dampen the sponge and blend on even, all over coverage. Use the fluffy, angled brush for enhanced coverage and to set your dewy look in place. It’s also perfect for dry applications without ever looking flaky.

My Experience with Tarte Confidence Creamy Powder Foundation:
Packaging: The creamy powder foundation comes packaged in a golden colored compact, which has a mirror attached. This compact has a square shaped, aubergine-colored cloth pouch. It has a lovely message written in a golden colored font, “Make today beautiful”. A dual-colored sponge is provided, which needs to be stored separately. There is no provision to store the sponge inside the compact. The full set comes packaged in an aubergine-colored, square-shaped cardboard box. Packaging is travel-friendly.
I picked Tarte Confidence Creamy Powder Foundation in the shade light-medium neutral. It’s a neutral shade which perfectly suits my moderately fair skin; it’s neither very dark nor too light, just perfect. The texture of this creamy powder foundation is smooth and velvety. It applies evenly to give a smooth finish to my skin. Skin feels soft and smooth.
I use my Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Face Brush to apply this powder foundation. I start applying from the center of my face, then apply under the eyes, on the forehead and all over the face. I prefer using it dry and it gives medium to full coverage. When applied directly over a moisturizer or a primer, it gives sheer to medium coverage and when worn over a BB cream or a tinted moisturizer/tinted primer or liquid foundation, it gives medium to full coverage.
However, for under eye circles, dark spots or marks, a concealer is a must. It does not dry, irritate or break my sensitive skin. Suitable for normal, combination and oily skin types, since it claims to balance and control excess oil. I have used this compact with some breakouts on my skin and it soothed them and made them dry; did not irritate or worsen them. It helps soften and cover fine lines and pores. Does not accentuate pores. Gives a smooth and velvety finish to the skin. The sponge provided is not much of use to me and it needs to be stored in the pouch provided separately.
The lasting power is around six to eight hours. I have been using this product almost daily since I purchased it. However, as the weather is becoming cooler and changing for better, my skin tends to become dry and I have noticed that this compact tends to settle in dry patches and corners. Hence, for the dry skin types, it is advisable to apply it on a nicely exfoliated, moisturized and toned facial skin. Overall, I am quite satisfied with this pick. I have attached pictures of this compact when I had bought it new and even as of date. In my opinion, it is not suitable for the very dry skin type, especially during winters.
