My experience with Tarte Day Dream Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush:

The packaging of the blush steals your heart right away. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush comes in a good quality plastic packaging, the color of which is co-ordinated with the blush shade it houses inside. Essential information about the product is mentioned at the bottom of the pan. It doesn’t come with any mirror or applicator. Well, personally I think the brushes provided with even high-end blushes are of very little use and result in streaks due to smaller handles and lesser density of bristles. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush is extremely lightweight, and closes tightly so one can say that it is completely travel friendly.

I have got the shade “Day Dream” which is a true pink color with a hint of plum and has medium intensity of pink shade. It is highly pigmented and a light handed swirl will also give full color payoff in one single swipe. The texture has micro particles which is very finely milled and soft to give a smooth blush.

It isn’t chalky or powdery regardless of the fact that the ingredient list mentions talc as the main ingredient. It doesn’t mess up the pan due to fallout. Tarte has made everything just so perfect. It doesn’t accentuate my pores or creases in fine lines. The lasting power is definitely the prime trait. It lasts for about 7-8 hours at minimum on my cheeks with just a foundation underneath. Being a powder foundation, it is suitable for all skin types. Additionally, the shade is so beautiful that it will complement any skin tone, from our snow whites to dusky beauties. There are no shimmer particles and it gives a complete matte finish. Infused with Amazonian clay, the product is free of Parabens.
