The Tarte Precision Long Wear Eyeliner is part of the Lights, Camera, Lashes collection. Tarte is one of the brands that I recently started using and have already been totally impressed with their products. I obviously have not tried everything from their line, but I definitely have gone into Sephora multiple times and have swatched multiple products of theirs and have been impressed by each and every product that I have tested out. I also ending up taking mini samples home to try it out some more. Anyway, read on to see if this product lived up to its hype.

My Experience with Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Precision Long Wear Eyeliner:

Tarte is known for their ultra sleek and beautiful packaging and this one is no different. It is simple yet nice. It comes in a sleek pencil form with golden lettering on it. Also, the cap portion has simple golden designing on it as well. I really like that the pencil is thin, but not too thin, where it easily fits into my hands and gives it a good grip for an easy application. The formula is black and super dark and highly pigmented. One stroke and you have the color you need. When it dries, you are left with a semi-matte finish, nothing too shiny which is just the way I like it.

It makes my makeup pop. It has a long felt tip which makes the product glide on easily. The felt tip is sturdy and does not move around like other felt tip liners do, you are in total control which means less errors. There is absolutely no tugging or pulling in the process of application. It is super easy to do a dramatic cat eye or a flawless simple line. Plus, it dries very fast, so you do not have to worry about creating a mess and trying not to blink to let it dry fast.  It has a very long-lasting formula, it lasts me FOREVER. I have never encountered a time where it has even lightly smudged or disappeared from my eyes like some eyeliners have before. Though this is not waterproof (I wish it was), but since it is lasting me these hot summer days, it does not bother me too much.

One thing that is worth the mention is that Tarte products are free of harmful ingredients – paraben and phthalates. It is also a cruelty-free product, so they do not test on animals. So, this definitely adds bonus points. Overall, this is one of the best liquid eyeliners I have come across yet.

It makes everything so much easier for me because applying eyeliner was always a task I left for the very last step of my makeup (since it took me so long to get both eyes identical), but since I have been using this, I am done quicker than ever.
