How To Use:

Use the tarteist™ paint brush wand applicator to paint on luxe, long-wearing lip color. First, use the precision felt tip to trace pigmented color the upper and lower lip line. Then, shade inside the lip line using the soft, flat applicator surface. Apply one layer for a subtle matte finish or two layers for a dramatic, opaque lip look.  Tarteistry tip: Apply after the tarteist™ lip crayon to perfectly prime and enhance your natural lip line.

My Experience with Tarte Namaste Nude Tarteist Lip Paint:

Tarte Tarteist lip paints come in tube packaging with a doe-foot applicator inside, similar to any regular lip gloss packaging. The tube is transparent and reflects the shade and amount of the product. It is lightweight and travel friendly.

Details at the back

I love the formula, it is creamy yet has ideally thin consistency and glides on with one swipe of the applicator. The formula is very hydrating, but not moisturizing. The consistency is thin enough to deposit the shade with full coverage in two swipes, but not thick or clumpy to induce tugging in application. The moment it touches your lips, a minty fragrance welcomes you, reaching out your sniffs, but thankfully, not accompanied by any tingling or cooling sensation (which I hate!). The fragrance vanishes real soon and you can enjoy the lip product if you have a sensitive nose.

It provides complete opacity to pigmented lips. The formula is forgiving to mistakes but can enhance dry patches, so make sure to exfoliate lips if you have dry/parched lips. The doe-foot applicator is nicely designed. The pointed tip can be used to outline lips and the inclined portion to fill in the shade, but still, I felt the need of a lip liner or crayon for a neat look. And honestly, I am not too good at handling liquid lip products.

The maximum wear time is 4 hours on average and it fades unevenly. Initially, it fades from the inner side of the lips and then in some patches, and then finally, settles into the lip lines. With a meal, it starts fading from the inner side of lips. Actually, the formula is creamy and never dries out completely. This is a benefit in terms of hydration but set back in term of longevity of the product.

IMBB Rating:

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Tarte Namaste Nude Tarteist Lip Paint?
I wouldn’t repurchase this product, I will call it “overhyped.” I will recommend it to those who can take the hassle of reapplication and are good at applying liquid lipsticks.
