Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil Review

Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil Review

Hello lovely IMBB ladies,

Today, I am here to review a much hyped and loved product by many all across the globe. It’s Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil.

Product Description:

A 100 percent pure organic maracuja oil.  This undiluted organic and moisturizing maracuja oil quickly absorbs for firmer, brighter, smoother skin. Pure maracuja oil is rich in vitamin C, so skin appears instantly brighter and more radiant. The oil is also a source of essential fatty acids (EFAs), a requirement for healthy skin cells that the body cannot produce on its own. EFA deficiency can result in the breakdown of essential skin cells which causes skin to appear dry and aged. By supplementing skin with pure maracuja oil, you are infusing life back into dull skin and replenishing EFAs to rapidly rebuild and repair. This potent anti-aging elixir that has anti-inflammatory benefits promotes active skin recovery and delivers maximum hydration without any greasy or filmy feel.  It is formulated without parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, petrochemicals, phthalates, triclosan.

$46 for 1.7 Oz.

How To Use:

At night, apply 2-3 drops of pure maracuja oil in your hands, rub them together and apply to clean, dry skin on face and neck.

What is Maracuja Oil?

I have been hearing a lot of rave on facial benefits from essential oils like rosehip, maracuja, lavender oil, etc.  Maracuja oil is extracted from the seeds of Passion fruit. It is also called as passionfruit oil. It is considered valuable as it is rich in essential fatty acids and used in various personal care products for hair, skin, etc.  Maracuja oil helps in treating mature, aging, dry and cracked skin. It can also be used for dry and damaged hair. It also helps to soothe muscle aches and swelling by massaging and relaxing the skin.

My Experience with Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil:

After all the hype and love shown to this product by many people, I decided to
give it a try. I did not want to invest on a big bottle without actually seeing some results personally. So, I got a mini version and I am using it religiously in my night skin regime. I wash my face with Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash and completely pat dry the skin and apply 3 drops on my palm and massage it all over the face. I don’t apply anything other than the oil. I replaced my night cream with Maracuja oil.

Packaging:  This has a pretty lovely packing.  The product comes in a very cute and lavish looking glass jar. It has a dropper that controls the amount of product picked from the bottle.

Texture: It has a very lightweight texture which is non-greasy and easily absorbed by the skin.

Smell:  There is no odor to the oil nor does it leave any odor on the skin. It is basically odorless.

Since it has a light texture, it can be easily spread on the skin and is absorbed very easily.  It doesn’t make the skin heavy or greasy. It leaves a nice sheen/glow on the skin after immediately applying it and makes skin very smooth and soft.  I have never tried this product on my hair as I got this for my skin to treat the dry areas and help improve the texture of the skin.

Pros of Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil:

  • Cute packaging.
  • 100% pure maracuja oil which has great benefits for both skin and hair.
  • Formulated without parabens and other harmful chemicals.
  • Lightweight texture and gets easily absorbed by the skin without leaving it greasy.
  • Great substitute for a moisturizer in the nighttime skin regime.
  • Improves the texture of the skin and makes it looks healthy and refreshed.
  • Helps treat ageing and matured skin.
  • No fragrance or odor.

Cons of Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil:

  • Benefits of this product are not seen in very few uses.
  • Quite expensive.

Overall, I love how it makes my skin feel smooth and refreshed. Though I haven’t seen any significant difference in my skin, I will continue to use it and will definitely repurchase it when I run out of the mini bottle. You can also try other alternate brands of maracuja oil available on Amazon as it has great benefits on skin and hair.
