My Experience with Tarte Snap Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint:
Packaging: The packaging is a pretty standard clear tube with a golden metallic writing on the side – Tarte Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint. The bottom of the tube specifies the name “Snap.” The tube has a golden cap. The applicator is slant and fluffy. The applicator allows me to fill in the corner of the lips easily. The lip paint comes in a golden cardboard box with a dripping lip paint design on top which depicts the colour of the lip paint. Overall, the packaging is very travel friendly and sturdy.
Texture and Application: The texture of the lip paint is highly glossy without the tackiness. The feel is like a glossy, creamy lip balm. These lip glosses are not sticky. They are super hydrating and moisturising. These lip paints are really comfortable to wear.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The lip paint is super pigmented and super opaque, just like any other a liquid lipstick but with a glossy finish. It gives a full coverage even if the lips are pigmented.
Shade and Finish: The Tarte Tarteist glossy lip paint shade in “Snap” is described as a “n*de mauve” and it is indeed a very stunning warm-toned mauve brown shade. This shade will suit all types of skin tones. This lip paint gives you a “yours lips but better finish.” The finish is glossy, moisturised lips which do not feel tacky. It’s a great everyday shade.
Staying Power: The staying power is good with this lip paint. It stays on for around 4 hours without the need to reapply. However, it will start fading if you eat or drink water. Overall, I am really happy with the colour pay off, the texture and the longevity of the lip paint. The lip paint can be easily removed with a makeup remover. Overall I am really impressed with the Snap lip paint.
