I am in love with Tarte lipsticks because they are so buttery smooth, affordable, and feel so light and smooth on lips. I have used Revlon, Maybelline, and L’Oreal lip colors in the past and have loved them all, but I wanted to try lip colors from other brands as well, and have started with Tarte lip cremes. I guess I would be buying more of these in the future.

My Experience with Tarte Wonder LipSurgence Lip Creme:
This is my first lip color from Tarte and I really love the feel of it on my lips, but I am not that much excited about the shade because it is bit too cooled toned for my liking. This shade is a red-pink color and is on the lighter side, hence looks better only if mixed with a darker lip color.
This one looks like Revlon chubby lip stains except that the cap is of silver color, but otherwise, this one too has the same twist-up mechanism. The cap has a snug fit and does not open while I keep it in the purse or pocket.
This lip creme is super creamy and buttery in texture; however, since it is so buttery, you end up using a lot of lip creme in a single swipe, and regular usage will deplete the product fast. It glides on easily and I won’t recommend a thick layer of lip balm underneath as it makes the entire process cumbersome. A sparingly applied lip balm should suffice.
This is a red-pink shade with cool undertones which looks good on my skin only if I wear a dark lip liner underneath.
This lip creme is not that pigmented and does not cover the uneven skin tone of my lips, but it does not bother me so much because I have to wear a dark lip liner underneath any way.
This one has a creamy shine which looks natural and is perfect for office wear and day looks.
This lip product has no fragrance, which I personally like. This lip creme stays put as long as I don’t eat a big meal. Since it is so creamy, it is only logical to do touch ups in between.
This shade is cool toned and can be easily worn with any look, any time of the day. It looks pretty on cool skin tones, but others would have to wear a darker lip liner shade underneath. It is very smooth and creamy and wears amazingly well on my lips, and keeps them hydrated.
Pros of Tarte Wonder LipSurgence Lip Creme:

- Medium red pink color – perfect for cool skin tones.
- Creme finish.
- Feels great on lips and hydrates them well.
- No fragrance.
- Very creamy and easy to apply.
- One swatch gives good color payoff.
- Decent wear time.
Cons of Tarte Wonder LipSurgence Lip Creme:
- Expensive, but it’s Tarte!
- You end up using a lot of lip creme in one swipe.
- You would need touch-ups between meals.
- Does not cover my pigmented lips.
- This shade is not for my skin tone.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Tarte Wonder LipSurgence Lip Creme?
Not this shade, but I would love to try a warmer shade from this range. I recommend it to cool skin tones, but for others, I have to warn that it might look a bit garish.
