TBS Rainforest Radiance Shampoo For Coloured Hair Review

Most of us always keep searching for a decent shampoo. Some of us even get it but notice that after some months or few washes, the hair are not responding to it as good as it used to in the first few washes. I personally feel that it’s due to silicones, sulphates and other harmful chemicals. These harmful chemicals have dramatic instant results but fail in the long run and end up in damaging the hair. So, I always keep on trying and searching the shampoos with NO silicones and less sulphates. Some natural ingredients, if added, are a bonus. Today I am going to review Rainforest Radiance Shampoo For Coloured Hair from a trusted company, The Body shop.

What the company claims: Gently cleanses to remove dulling residues for prolonged color radiance. Moisturizes and protects shine. Contains UV filter. For best results mix in the hands with water to create lather. Follow with Radiance conditioner.
Precautions: If the product gets in eyes, rinse with clean water.

My take on TBS Rainforest Radiance Shampoo For Coloured Hair:

It comes in a dark brown plastic bottle with a flip cap. The packaging is neither attractive nor travel friendly as there is always a risk that the cap may open itself. Coming to the shampoo, it is Transparent, thin and runny in consistency and has a good fragrance (like the ones from lóreal professional series). It can bother sensitive noses but does not linger long on hair. The shampoo is mild and cleanses well my non-oiled hair. For oiled hair it is required in more quantity but does the job well. I think it’s because the shampoo is mild on hair. I have oily scalp and very dry hair. My hair are not colour treated but still I prefer shampoos for coloured hair as they seem to be mild than the other variants and good for my hair type. Shampoos for dry hair don’t clean my scalp well and those for oily hair make my hair and scalp very dry. This shampoo tames the hair well even ,at times without conditioner. It’s neither harsh nor did it give me hair fall. It is one of those few shampoos which suit my hair without any complains. No idea about colour protection. Personally, I found it better, less drying (without conditioner) and milder than those from the lóreal professional series.
