How are you all? Summers are finally here and I am hating it! Having sinuses makes it harder to deal with the scorching heat. But, I am happy for now since I did a huge haul from the US. I finally got my hands on all the products that I wanted for a while, but their unavailability in India was restricting me. So, having loads of cute goodies around makes me feel blissful.
The first product that I picked up from the stash is The Balm Pinstripe Instain Long Wearing Staining Powder Blush. This is the only blush that I purchased in this haul. Let’s get started with the detailed characteristics of this blush.
theBalm’s long-wearing, STAINING powder blush is a fashion must have! With six shades, perfect for all seasons and skin tones, it will give your cheeks color that won’t quit.

My Experience with The Balm Pinstripe Instain Long Wearing Staining Powder Blush:
I have always been addicted to blushes be it peaches, corals or pinks. But, my shade selection was getting pretty monotonous. So, I knew that I had to try something different. That’s how I found this. I ordered two of these, one is a pinkish one and the other is this one.
Talking about the packaging, it is something to die for. This is the cutest blush packaging I have ever seen. It looks like a small book/magazine that opens up to reveal a blush and a mirror. It also has a similar outer packaging. This book kind of packaging has the same color as the blush on top. Hence, it becomes easily distinguishable. It is small and very handy. Also, if dropped, neither the packaging nor the powder blush gets affected.
The shade is somewhat unique to me. It is a very pretty berry plum shade with a hint of pink. The colour is very beautiful. Also, very bright and fresh for the summers. It has small gold shimmer particles that are not visible when applied to the apples of the cheeks. The small gold shimmer gives a nice gold sheen to the blush which makes the colour glow ever more. The amazing plum color compliments my medium fair skin tone very well. The shade will look very pretty on all the skin tones, be it fair or dusky.
The pigmentation is super intense and very pigmented. You get a dash of plum color on your cheeks with just one swipe. The blush is very noticeable when applied, but has to be blended correctly or it will give clown’s cheeks.
The lasting power is amazing and it lasts for 4-5 hours, even on oily skin. And, even though, the color intensity reduces with time, as the name suggests, it leaves a pretty pink stain on the cheeks. It is important that I mention that this stain lasts for a very long time. It doesn’t feel chalky during the application. I just wish they had included a brush with it, but that’s okay.
I am happy that I came out of my comfort zone and tried something like this. I will totally recommend this to every one who wants to buy a perfect blush. I am sure this will not disappoint you in any way; they have 6-7 stunning shades to choose from. So, go for the one you like the best.
