Hope you all are doing well. Today I am going to review an eyeshadow by The Body Shop. I ordered a few items from The Body Shop some time ago. This eyeshadow was a part of that order. Strangely, everything was nicely packaged except this eyeshadow and an eye definer that I ordered. Obviously, it had to get damaged. The definer and the eyeshadow both were not in bubble packaging, hence got damaged. I wrote a mail to The Body Shop regarding the damaged products and I am so highly impressed with their service. They sent a new pack of the eyeshadow and eye definer. They did not ask me for any proof nor did they tell me to exchange the products in a store or courier them back. Now this is what I call a good customer service! Read the review of the Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow; I will review the definer soon.

The eyeshadow looked big in the picture on their website but it comes in a tiny pan with a transparent lid. The name of the brand is printed on the lid along with the brand logo. The shade justifies the name, Gorgeous Gold, as it surely is a wonderful, vibrant gold shade.
My Experience with The Body Shop 240 Gorgeous Gold Colour Crush Eyeshadow:
I applied this shade without a primer just to see how long it stays on my lids. It stayed for about 4 hours. With a primer, it stayed for about 6 to 7 hours. Now, the texture of this eyeshadow is super soft. It can be used dry or wet. I think using it wet gives a more intensified look. There is a definite fallout with this one. Other than this, it’s an excellent eyeshadow in my opinion.
It is highly pigmented and goes well with evening party looks. I think the price is a bit high for the quantity provided but then I like The Body Shop products and couldn’t stop myself from buying it. There is a huge array of shades to choose from in this range. Overall, it’s a decent product that serves the purpose well. People on a budget might find it pricey for the quantity, though.
Pros of The Body Shop 240 Gorgeous Gold Colour Crush Eyeshadow:
• Vibrant gold shade
• Super soft eyeshadow
• Does not feel heavy on the lids
• Huge range of shades to choose from
• Can be used wet or dry
Cons of The Body Shop 240 Gorgeous Gold Colour Crush Eyeshadow:
• There is a little fallout with this one
