The Body Shop All-in-One BB Cream
Hello pretties,

Hope you all are in the best of health. Penning down a review after a pretty long time and am happy to come back with one brand that has rarely failed me, The Body Shop. I had visited the store to check out the newly launched Tea Tree BB Cream but more than that I got attracted to the all-in one BB cream. Will talk about that in details later in the review.
Price: Rs 1395/- for 25ml

My Experience with The Body Shop All-in-One BB Cream
Packaging – the BB cream comes in a tube packaging which is slender to fit in the makeup pouch. The body is silver in color and the cap is black. I would prefer a flip top cap any day considering am always in hurry. The opening is small and hence the quantity of the product dispensed can be controlled. The shade number and all details of the product are mentioned on the body of the tube. Simple functional packaging which is not boring at the same time.
Texture: the cream is white with micro beads when swatched initially. When you start rubbing the beads kind of release pigment which gives the hint of coverage to the skin. Hence I find it is better to apply with finger and not brush. The SA was doing it wrong on me with the foundation brush. Anyways, thanks to IMBB I am a smart shopper now and hence I requested her to hand over the tester to me and that is when I realized how amazingly formulated it is.
The cream does not give a heavy coverage but it something that will cover minute blemishes. Also the goodness of the ingredients gives the right dose of moisture and glow to the skin. I was matched to the shade 02 which is medium. The cream gives a beautiful blurring effect to the skin which gives an illusion of perfect skin. This has become my everyday makeup base with light dab of Mac studio fix powder on top. On its own it might feel a bit greasy but the compact/loose powder takes care of the issue.
Now coming to where this scored over the tea-tree BB cream, is, this gave me brightening effect which the other lacked. The tea tree one was difficult to work with on the skin and also it came in very definitive shades. I did not want to take chances with the shade and went for the safer option. Also the all-in-one version made my skin look healthy and natural unlike the tea tree one. I think very-oily skin ladies might check that out. Please take care about the shade range though.
When topped with a compact/setting powder the BB cream stays fresh for more than 6 hours. After that touching up here and there should set things right. I am late in jumping in the pool of BB creams but I am definitely loving this one on my skin. Though this is really expensive compared to the other BB creams available but again this comes from The Body Shop.

Hi, I have combination skin with oily t-zone and otherwise supremely dry cheeks and forehead. I am a college going girl, so I need something that is tinted yet moisturising and can be worn everyday giving a somewhat polished look to my face (since you wouldn’t wear heavy foundation everyday). But most creams/lotions/moisturisers make my face sweat a lot. I look like I have run a marathon 😛 I really want to start using a BB cream as a quick makeup look, but the whole sweat problem keeps me from trying anything. So would you recommend this product to me?
