This extra-fine powder blusher gives smooth, buildable colour and has great staying power. With ingredients including vitamin E and marula oil, it’s make-up and skincare in one. Superfine Blends easily Lasting colour.
I reviewed another shade from them Cherryade recently. I am not mighty impressed with these blushes honestly and I must say I paid more than usual for these. At 795 these should have been to say the least, pigmented and non chalky. This is not my favorite but yes subtle blush wearers, beginners in blushers and TBS lovers might like this. I have tried so many blushes that by now I know this comes in the chalky non-pigmented category.
The blushes remind me of those beautiful Maybelline cheeky glow ones which come half the price or less. But they deliver better than these. The texture and colors are quite the same.the color in the TBS blushes are all pretty pastel and subtle color as far as I can see. This one is a chalky peach pink, the golden subtle shimmers in it make it look peachy pink. The texture is basically matte, the shimmers do not show up much but give a glow, a very light touch of peachy gold on the cheeks.
The blush packaging is cute no doubt, but no mirror or applicator is there. This might be a disadvantage for some. At this cost, these blushes could have a superb compact casing, an applicator and another mirror too. But I like my lushes to be small, I carry and use my own brushes and mirror, so no issues.
The texture is not satin soft, in fact it is on the chalky side. The shimmer is almost invisible, so oily skin can wear it too.The pink barely shows up so it is best suited to pale pink and cool skin tones. Dark and yellow skin tones can skip it. For me it looks very subtle but I need a heavy hand to build it up. The color is nice for me somehow paired with light pink lipstick. You could wear it to office if you are lighter and pink skin toned.
Oily skin makes it melt in no time. With compact and foundation, it will be visible for less than three hours and there is no stain either. So reapplication is needed but the poor pigmentation and chalkiness makes it no fun either.Overall, I do not recommend this blush unless you have a heavy hand and still want to try subtle blushes.I did not get what I paid for.
