The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Rescue Cream Mask Review

Skin Type- Combination to Oily; Sensitive Skin – No
Aloe is good for almost all skin types and a cream mask from the Aloe range by The Body Shop is something that is not available here in India, hence this came home with me from my trip. I will shamelessly confess, I was fooled by the name; read on to know more.

My Experience with The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Rescue Cream Mask:

The mask comes in a plastic tub packaging which is neither hygienic nor travel friendly. The details about the product are mentioned on the body of the tub. A lot of information is mentioned on the body, typical of The Body Shop. Though it looks soothing with the aloe theme going on, but practically am not too fond of the packaging.
name

The texture of the mask is super smooth and gooey. It spreads like dream on the skin and a little bit of the product goes a long way, so the pricing can be justified somehow. There is a pleasant fragrance to the mask which stays on for a few minutes before vanishing.

The funny thing is, it is not a “mask”. Imagine my reaction when I was waiting for it to dry down so that I can wash it off and that never happened! It is not a cream mind you, but it has to be kept on forever on the skin, like really? Why call it a mask then?
product

Well, it is not for my skin type. It feels oily initially but settles with time and when massaged in, it absorbs well. People with dry skin would love it to bits; just remember it is NOT a mask. Use it like a weekly night cream and enjoy the soft supple skin.

Pros of The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Rescue Cream Mask:

• Little goes a long way.
• Spreads like butter.
• Lovely texture.
• Soothing fragrance.
• Heals dry patches.
