My Take on The Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose Perfume Oil:

I used the Loccitane Roses 4 Reines Bath and Shower Gel few years back and was so much in love with the rose fragrance that since then I literally started hunting for the rose fragrance in all EDP’s, EDT’s etc. I came across this cute little bottle of perfume oil bearing the rose tag on it on my last visit to The Body Shop Outlet and without even sniffing it, I paid for it. I have been hooked on to it since then. Now that the cat is already out of the bag, let me tell you that it is the most clean vibrant and exotic rose fragrance ever. Though it also contains musk, amber and citrus in its notes, but everything beautifully mellows down to an enchanting rose fragrance.

The Body Shop Atlas Perfume Oil

It comes in a transparent sturdy glass bottle, which has a white coloured screw cap. An applicator is attached on to the screwcap, which does an ok (ayish) job. The bottle is cute and because it is available in 15 ml, it is easier to carry it in the purse unlike the bulky perfume bottles. This perfume oil also does not contain any alcohol and the base happens to be an oil. Since, it is an oil based perfume, the longevity is also better as compared to spray perfumes. With the applicator, I dab it on to my pulse points and the fresh feminine rose fragrance stays on for a good 5-6 hours. I haven’t ever applied it on my clothes.

The Body Shop Atlas Perfume Oil

It has never irritated my skin, nor does it make the pulse point greasy, it gets absorbed within 2 minutes. The sillage on the other hand is moderate. After 2 hours, the people around can not notice it. It is an exotic Moroccan rose fragrance, where the notes are nicely balanced. Can be worn at any point of the day.

I picked up another variant which is water lotus, shall be reviewing it shortly.
