Today I’ll share another amazing product which was sponsored by IMBB. This was again influenced by one of the YouTubers, so you know I had to get it. I haven’t really reviewed any perfumes and I’m naïve in this category of reviews. I hope I do enough justice to the EDT. Let’s know more about this black beauty!

My Experience with The Body Shop Black Musk Eau De Toilette:
Look at that gorgeously classy packaging! Black and hot pink are two of my favourite colours (apart from orange). The packaging is matte which adds more to the classy theme.
The bottle comes housed in a black cardboard packaging with hot pink interiors. Although the packaging is simple, it is really attractive. The bottle is again black with a pink label. The bottle is made out of glass so you need to be careful with it. The lid fits nicely and won’t come undone. The bottle is bulky hence not suitable for travelling purpose. The packaging kind of looks similar to Tom Ford’s Noir de Noir.
Initially I thought that since the theme is black, the actual product might be black as well, like Lady Gaga’s black perfume. But it’s not! It’s transparent liquid. Usually it takes about 2-3 spritz for the fragrance to show up. I use 2-3 spritz on my wrists and then 2 on the sides of my neck and I’m good to go. The fragrance isn’t too strong and choking, which I like. It’s subtle and very feminine. It isn’t a girly fragrance, but a bit mysterious and sexy. I absolutely love this fragrance so much.
When you spray the EDT, the first thing you smell is the sweetness. Next there’s vanilla, musk and there’s definitely a bit of rich dark chocolate, in that order. I love how the notes blend with each other so well and create a gorgeous fragrance. It can’t be classified as a summer or winter fragrance. You can use it whenever you like, but mostly it falls in to the ‘Night fragrance’ category, although I’ve used this at day time too. :p
Coming to the longevity, it doesn’t last that long, 3-4 hours tops after which you should reapply the EDT. The sillage is soft and mild. I like the combination actually; the fragrance has a wild streak to it yet the sillage is soft and mild. It’s the perfect combination to wear when on a date according to me.

• Longevity should’ve been higher.
• Takes more spritzes for the fragrance to show up.

Yes, for the repurchase and recommendation. If you like fragrances that make you feel good, then this is the one for you. And girls who like sweet and girly fragrances should try this to break the monotony. It’s meant for every girl who has a wild streak, just like the EDT.
