The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel Review

I’m back to writing reviews (with a bang!) 😉
Yesterday, I made a trip to the TBS store and picked this shower gel along with the body lotion. I got them at a 20% discount rate.
Did I like it? Read on to know…

Price :
₹425 but I got it at the store for ₹340.

Features of The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel :
1) Uplifting Blueberry Scent.
2) Soap-Free Cleanser & Lather-Rich.
3) Contains Bouncy Blueberry Fruit Extract.
4) Contains Community Fair Trade Honey from Ethopia.
5) ₹425 for 250 ml.
6) Shelf Life – 2.9 Years approx.
7) Blue-Tinted Shower Gel.
8) Same Packaging like all the other Shower Gels from TBS.

My Experience with The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel :

The shower gel smells good and fills the room with it’s lovely, fresh scent like the Blueberry body lotion. It’s soap-free (which I don’t like) and lathers well.

I would recommend you to use a loofah with it so that it lathers better. I don’t like the soapy feeling; it leaves behind that feeling like the other shower gels do.

The fragrance at first is like a fresh guava, but after a few minutes you smell like yummy blueberries. If you top it off with the body lotion, the fragrance will last longer 🙂

Pros of The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel :

• Smells a bit like a fresh guava in the beginning but mellows down to a sweet blueberry scent.
• Quantity > Price.
• A little goes a long way.
• Fills the room with its lovely smell.
• Softens skin.
• Pretty long shelf life.
• Pretty packaging.

Cons of The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel :

• Soap-free, so leaves that soapy feeling that shower gels usually do.
• No ingredients list mentioned.
• Fragrance might not linger for long.

Conclusion:
This shower gel, in my opinion is pretty good. It has the same pricing as all the other shower gels from TBS does and smells yummy too. It softens the skin to an extent, and the fragrance stays for a while. There’s not much to say really. Go for it if you like it 😀
