I spent the past few days shopping; so ecstatic. I went crazy at TBS. I bought two shower gels (Strawberry and British Rose), one body puree, a pack of cotton pads and the pumice stone foot scrub. So excited to use all of them. I had always been skeptical about the strawberry body wash but after using it I now know what the fuss is about. It’s so mesmerizing. I just realized I have to review the British Rose, and not the strawberry. 😛

My Experience with The Body Shop British Rose Shower Gel:
When I heard about the British Rose range, I didn’t really want to use it. I thought the smell would make my nose feel irritated. When I walked into the store, I picked up the bottle to smell it and it was mesmerizing, I had to pick it up! The packaging is so cute. It is unlike all the other shower gels from TBS. The gel is my favourite baby pink color and the bottle cap is black – such a classic combination. The bottles available in the stores all had a dent in it, must have happened during the shipment to the store.
The consistency of the shower gel is slightly thicker than the normal TBS shower gels. It’s the perfect consistency. It is a thick gel and is not runny. When using the product, only a little amount is required. It lathers up very well, with or without a loofah. So this 250 ml can last you a long time. In case you get bored with just one shower gel, buy a couple of shower gels and switch between them. I am pretty sure all of us TBS fans do that.
The fragrance is so soothing. It transports you to a field of roses on a hot summer day. It is just so appropriate for the summers. The fragrance isn’t very strong. So, for users who like a little hint of fragrance in their products, it is completely made for you. It just couldn’t get any better. I don’t want to come out of the shower while using this. The fragrance, like other body washes, does not last very long but if used with other products from this range the fragrance will last long. It also does not dry out the skin.
