How to Use:
Massage gently onto damp or wet skin, then rinse thoroughly.
Packaging:
This one comes packaged in a transparent decent quality plastic jar with a black coloured screw on cap. I personally prefer jar packaging for body scrubs as I find it easy to use. However, this could be a con for some since it is unhygienic to share scrub that comes in a jar packaging. There is no inner lid and the size of 200 ml is definitely putting this one in a not travel-friendly category unless you plan to bubble wrap or tie cling film around this bulky jar.
My Experience with The Body Shop Coconut Exfoliating Cream Body Scrub:
I usually like exfoliating my body once a week and experimenting with a different scrub each time appeals to me. This time, I decided to pick up The Body Shop Coconut Exfoliating Cream Body Scrub. I was under a wrong notion that it is just an ordinary scrub. The best impression is the fragrance and the soft silky texture. When I opened this jar, I smelled fresh coconuts and this experience was invigorating and appealing to my senses.
The texture is utterly, buttery smooth and creamy. It has very fine and mild granules. It’s like applying a shower cream or body lotion which has very fine granules for mild exfoliation. It is not oily or creamy, just perfect. It provides the required amount of hydration. Normally when I exfoliate my body, I tend to shower for more time to wash off properly but, with this coconut exfoliating cream body scrub, it is very quick and smooth. Another good part is that it can be applied to the dry skin as it spreads and applies easily, evenly and smoothly. No hassles, no struggles!
Since the texture is soft and creamy like a shower cream with mild exfoliation, this one can be used on a daily basis or even thrice a week. Body feels thoroughly cleansed and moderately hydrated and cool at the same time. The scrub gives a fresh feeling. It is good enough to be used in the mornings, before setting out to keep that energetic and refreshing feeling throughout the day. The granules are very fine, mild and sparse; not advisable for those seeking a very strong, deeply exfoliating body scrub. This one is a very good scrub for sensitive skin types and for use during hot summer days. It gives a nice energetic and cool feeling to the body, and skin feels smoothed and extremely nourished.
