The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Leg Gel Review

The Body Shop Peppermint Reviving Leg Gel Review

I have extremely dry feet and very recently I have been seeing cracks in my feet that really bothered me a lot. Also I remembered the review of The Body Shop Cooling Leg Gel here at IMBB. Then I decided to give it a try. Though I didn’t get the cooling gel here in India, I got this peppermint reviving leg gel. I got this during the sale and this was Rs.425 I guess after discount. Original Price was Rs.475 for 250ml. Credit goes to Priya – as I am partially immobile these days πŸ˜‰ Can’t stand in a place for a long time or go for shopping carrying the heavy belly:(, she came forward to get this for me. Thanks Priya.

From The Body Shop – β€œReviving horse chestnut and refreshing Community Trade peppermint oil soothes and invigorates tired, heavy legs.”

The bottle can be easily squeezed to get the gel out of the bottle. Since the bottle is full now I feel it is easy to get the gel out but once half of the bottle gets over I think it is a bit hard to get the gel out. Anyways I will update that later whether I struggled to get the product out or was it easy πŸ˜›

Once I open the lid I can feel the strong peppermint smell as if I have popped a peppermint in my mouth. I really love the fragrance. I take a little amount in my finger and just spread it on my foot and the next second everything gets absorbed. Absorption is so quick that I do not feel any stickiness at all – neither in my feet nor in my finger. Though I need not wash my hands I make sure my hands are clean and that is the only reason I wash my hands after applying the gel.

I have been using this gel for a couple of weeks and I could see visible difference. Cracks are vanishing slowly but I am glad that it works. I like this better than my creams as it leaves my feet fresh and I don’t feel uncomfortable or the necessity to wear socks to lock the moisture. It suits well for both day and night and just any time of the day. Since this gel gets absorbed really quickly I never thought this will work so well. Since I didn’t expect much initially I am absolutely in love this gel.

Pros of The Body Shop Peppermint Leg Gel

  • Non-sticky.
  • It is in gel form so that I don’t feel my feet greasy like how it feels when a cream is applied.
  • Quickly absorbed.
  • Easy availability is all The Body Shop show rooms.
  • Comes a long way so worth the money.
  • Little amount is sufficient for my extremely dry feet.
  • Packaging is good with intact lid.
  • Fresh fragrance for the right purpose.

Cons of The Body Shop Peppermint Leg Gel

  • As I mentioned it might be little difficult to squeeze the gel out of the bottle. Hopefully the product should not get wasted due to this problem.
  • It works a bit slow when compared to the creams.

My Rating – :-* :-*:-*:-*

Would I Repurchase – Yes for sure. I haven’t tried any leg gel so far, all I have been using were creams and so I really love this product.

but you know this reviving gel is a little different from cooling gel. This has chestnut, cooling one doesn’t. I have heard their peppermint foot lotion is also great. want to try that next :-))
