My Experience with The Body Shop Drops Of Light Pure Healthy Brightening Serum:

The serum comes in a cute yet elegant white glass bottle packaging with a dropper cap. It looks so neat and chic to me that I feel they have done a great job with synchronization of range name and packaging. The outer paper carton has all the required details about the product which is a lot of information, very typical of The Body Shop.

The Body Shop Drops Of Light Pure Healthy Brightening Serum description

Coming to the texture of the serum, I was expecting it to be a thick and oily liquid, but to my surprise the serum is very much like water. Only 2-3 drops are enough to cover the full face. I generally rub the liquid in-between my palm and pat on the face (avoiding the eye area) for better absorption. It has a very strong smell initially but settles to a mild agreeable scent which isn’t bothersome; i actually like the smell to it.

The serum has been super awesome in the sense that it has done almost everything that it claims to do. It actually brightens up the skin immediately and gives a healthy glow to the skin. It is not at all sticky and absorbs really well on to the skin. I would suggest following it up with cream to reap the benefits because it might seem enough for the hydration but in the long run a serum is not enough for the skin care routine. It has been effective in reducing the darks spots on my face and gives a plump skin in no time. I am in love with this and this my new HG serum!

Pros of The Body Shop Drops Of Light Pure Healthy Brightening Serum:

• Little quantity required each time.
• Effective in brightening skin.
• Lovely floral fragrance.
• Plumps skin for a healthy glow.
• Reduces dark spots.

  1. I got this without checking any review but it’s just hydrating nothing much.. I have been using religiously since July when it has worked on very well in hydrating my skin but unfortunately I don’t see any changes in pigmentation or my acne marks..
I’d suggest using any other serum than this as its exorbitantly priced for nothing…
