The Body Shop Drops of Youth Youth Cream Review

Skin Type- Combination to Oily; Sensitive Skin – No
I am loyal to The Body Shop and really trust their skincare items. They have improved on their makeup line, but I believe their skincare range and variation is unmatched. This youth cream is a new launch from the Drops of Youth range and here are my thoughts on the same.

My Experience with The Body Shop Drops of Youth Youth Cream:

The packaging of the cream is classy but not very user/travel friendly. It is bulky and made of glass, so is almost impossible to travel with. The tub packaging is not very user friendly as there is always a hygiene factor that comes into play. There is a protective shield to the gel cream which ensures there is no spillage. The green detailing is in sync with the Drops of Youth range.

The texture is lovely! It is like whipped up cream in a jar. The smell is heavenly and I can sniff this all day long. It is fresh and flowery but not overpowering. The texture is so nice that only a wee bit is required to cover the whole face and neck. On massaging the cream gets absorbed in a jiffy giving an instant radiant glow to the face.

Coming to the effectiveness to the product I am super impressed. Whenever I use this cream I end up having the softest glowing skin. Never ever my skin felt bouncier and healthier. I love the long-lasting hydration that it provides to my skin. Though 24hrs is a big claim but it gives long hydrating effect that lasts for 12-15hours minimum. It does not make my skin oily or break me out. I am in love with how the cream makes my skin feel. Other than the tub packaging and steep pricing there is no con!

  1. Oh, this is wonderful. Just yesterday was checking Body Shop online, and I was confused between Drops of Youth and Tea Tree for oily skin.

Now I will buy this..:-) Nice Review

    1. if you have super oily skin I would suggest go for the Tea Tree one, this one is great for combination/oily skn type. If you have already placed teh order, then balance it out with something that will avoid popping pimple if are pimple prone.

  2. Hey Rashmita,

Thank you for the tip. I will buy tea tree lotion then. I was confused between the two, so I dropped it, and ordered tea tree face wash, toner and mask.

Thankfully, I am not pimple prone…but suffer with an oily skin 🙁
