Happy New Year to all of you in advance, hope yo all enjoy to the fullest. Christmas in an ephemeral affair, but what stays with you are the maladies that winter brings for your skin, and lets share my little secret to keep these perils at bay.I never needed lotions or other moisturizing agents for my skin back in India as it was super oily, until recently. But I have been bombarded with all the dryness and parched skin after I have moved to Minnesota,USA,it is biting cold here and I was desperately in need of something that could save me from this distress, and The Body Shop acted as my fairy god mother and but the results were more than fairly good.
I was super excited after trying the Frosted Cranberry Body Polish from The Body Shop,so decided to give its body butter a try.I am so glad that I went for The Body Shop Frosted Cranberry Body Butter. It has been a delight to use it.It is one of their new seasonal launches and one of the best body butters that I have tried so far from this brand.Lets give you all an insight to this great product.
This fruity Body Butter is a vibrant and juicy-smelling festive favorite for fragrant, soft skin .Contains top note cranberry seed oil from Canada, as nourishing and moisturizing treat for the skin.
Leaves skin feeling softer and smoother
Seasonal Frosted Cranberry scent
Enriched with Community Fair Trade Shea Butter
Price:$20 for 6.75 OZ
The packaging is bulky with a capital B ,you wouldn’t ever want to carry a full size with you.It comes in the typical body shop body butter package,a cylinder cut short and flattened. The container is bright red in color, which adds to a Christmas like feel .You have to make sure to have your hands squeaky clean,or else you might contaminate the product as you have to dip your fingers to take the product out.
My Experience with The Body Shop Frosted Cranberry Body Butter:
I am simply in love with this one.Hating the greasy feel body butters impart all my life ,I have fallen for this one. Because ‘It’s Different “….it gets readily absorbed and once applied retains the softness for a long time.this makes it worth buying for $20 as a little goes a long way. The product is a pretty pink cream, which has a thick consistency, and it does not spread nicely if the skin is absolutely free of moisture. So to get the best results use it just after shower. The product has a very strong smell, I guess this whole frosted cranberry range has this “either you love it or hate it” feel to it due to the fragrance. It has a very fruity or more of a tart-like smell which some may not like. But if you can withstand this overpowering smell, this is your pick.I have come to terms with its smell,as like the fruity feel and the product is working wonders for me.I guess it is my only solace,my savior to get me through this harsh winter .Apply once a day and you are good to go.It gives you soft, supple and glowing skin all day long. The smell faints over time but the affect does not,the skin stays hydrated all day long.
Pros of The Body Shop Frosted Cranberry Body Butter:
- Imparts glow
- The fragrance lingers for long.
- Suits all skin types, even oily and sensitive skin.
Cons of The Body Shop Frosted Cranberry Body Butter:
- The fragrance might be too strong for some.
Except its fruity smell which could be a bother for some, this is the ultimate product for baby soft skin this winter,go get them soon, they are on sale right now.
